Sightseeing in DC, it is not convenient to use the public transportation system near the hotel.

Location. Unable to recommend restaurants, no local menus. We enjoyed the hotel very much. The location was perfect. The Continental breakfast appealed to everyone.

Was just there to sleep. I wasn't told about the parking and found a charge on my credit card for 27 dollars a day.

The desk help was very friendly and sympathetic with our AC issue, but the entire issue was a fiasco. They took out the faulty AC, put in a smelly one from a smoker's room which sounded like a freight train, then switched that for a portable one which left a cord across the bathroom threshold. Finally they found a different plug, meanwhile we were kept up 5 hours while all this took place. Then they said we could have a complimentary night in the future, coming in the mail, (sure!) at a place we don't wish to stay again. They couldn't refund our money because Orbitz hadn't even paid them for our stay, but the charge was on our credit card as soon as we had booked it. I will not charge a hotel thru Orbtiz ever again. Breakfast was good with good selection, the beds were comfortable.

I had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel was exactly what I needed and the price was well within my budget. I would stay here again. The only complaint I had was with the fact that towels from the previous guest were still in the bathroom when I checked in.

We always stay at Comfort Inn Hotels. We absolutely love them!! This by far was the most "uncomfort inn" that we have ever been to. The walls had cracks in them. To go into the hotel we had to carry our luggage up a small flight of stairs into elevators that only held 2 people and two bags max. Very old building. Just did not have the feel of a real comfort inn at all. Great thing though...they held our bags for free the day of check out so we could go do more sight seeing.

10-15 minutes from GW and the White House by cab. So all the monuments and museums are also quite easy to get to. There are about 8 stairs one must navigate with luggage if the bellhop isn't around but one usually is there. The parking is $27 per day (with a local garage, not the hotel's property. They park it for you. But for Friday night through Monday at 7am it's easy to find parking on the street.
