Friendly staff; basically only there to sleep

The room was noisy because there is an Irish pub on the 1st floor next to the lobby. The housekeeper even left us a pair of earplugs. The neighborhood is sketchy in parts; our hotel room had a view of the hostel next to the hotel. The room was small like a NYC hotel room. But with all this said, the room served our purposes and we got a great deal on the room.

His location, his breakfast and his parking facilities. The room is too small.

Even though the location was good in terms of its proximity to Downtown Vancouver it was in the heart of the night club area. We stayed at the hotel on Thursday and Friday night and were disturbed by the loud music from the Irish pub below till 2am on the Thursday and on the Friday till 4am due to the loud music and street noise. We were unaware of this prior to booking.

The Comfort Inn in Downtown Vancouver was clean and well kept. The bed was comfortable. The room was quite small, but since we didn't spend much time there it wasn't an issue. The morning breakfest (included) in the pub next door was great, with waffles, cereal, bagles, toast, fruit, juice, coffee, etc. There was Wifi available, but I could not get it to work on my computer, but was able to connect with via ethernet cable. The parking was limited and cost $14/day, which was not something we counted on. All in all, it was a very good deal for the money. Yes, I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn on our recent trip to Vancouver. The hotel itself was decent, clean room and a clean bathroom, but the room was quite small and the location was not the best. The street block was old and the alley near the hotel was not appealing (open dumpster). The breakfast was included and was very good. Overall the location was within 5mins walk to Yaletown (great place for dining, lots of nice restaurants).

Good downtown location. A clean hotel with a great pub attached. The location was great although.

I stayed on the 2nd floor during St Patrick's Day. Overall, the noise level for me is ok and I was not disturbed by noise. Continental breakfast everyday the same but variety is good enough. Helpful staff. From the hotel, I basically walk to all the places of interest except stanley park.

We recently went to Vancouver to get married on a very tight budget. We stayed in a regular suite with a king size bed the 1st night, and had complimentary breakfast the next morning at the Irish Pub next door, very fascinating place, and polite staff!!! We informed the Hotel Manager that we desired to be married in their hotel, and they we very accommodating. The Hotel Manager congratulated us and then offered to put us up in one of their suites with a Jacuzzi Tub for the same rate as the regular suite. We were married in the hotel by a local Marriage Commissioner who was absolutely awesome!!!! The beds were the most comfotable beds we have ever slept on in any hotel in our travels!!!!!!!The staff were always extremely helpful, I called down to the Front Desk for a local florist that wasn't expensive, and The Attendant directed me to a nice little shop on Davies St. just about two blocks away. The whole experience in Vancouver, BC was the best time we have had in a very, very long time!!!!!!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who plans on visiting Vancouver, BC!!!!! It is located pretty much in the central Down Town area, and there was plenty to do and see!!!! Overall a very positive and most enjoyable stay!!!!!!!!

We had one night left of our ten day trip to BC and decided to splurge on this location. We were not disappointed. We were given a king fireplace room and the amenities were first class (down comforter and Egyptian cotton sheets!) Furnishings were top notch but the scenery was terrible. Our windows overlooked a homeless shelter about 20 feet away.

Good deal, very friendly staff, breakfast is served in neighbouring Irish pub (really unique)

When I made my reservation, it was for a room with king bed. I received a nice room on arrival. There was a problem with the door and it would not lock. I was moved to a tiny room where you could hardly walk. For my inconvenience, I received a big 20 off of my rate. I complained, but the manager would not even speak to me face to face.

Not sound proof, could hear bar below and rooms beside. Very convenient for people looking to stay for a great time, 2 bars in the same building. Not at all convenient if you are staying for business, as the volume of the bar is very prominent on the 1st floor and doesn't stop until 2:00 am.

Great staff, very helpful and always courteous. Location was good for walking about the city. I heard that noise can be a problem on the first floor, but fine on the 4th - although the ice machine causes disturbance for adjacent room. Overall a very good impression and enjoyed the stay.

Convenience. Overall the hotel met my needs. But the hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants and nightclubs.
