Very wonderful experience, Staff was very co-ordial, friendly.., take care of things quickly. What else you can expect in a downtown stay

The location was very central and the rooms were spacious and clean. This was an excellent value!

Breakfast, internet, and location. Too expensive for the quality (dirty rugs and pool was empty).

November, 2008
This hotel is within easy walking distance of Broadway or a short cab ride. We were on a travelling holiday and this property delivered what we wanted: a clean, quiet comfortable room, breakfast included and friendly Reception staff. We certainly recommend this as a very good option when visiting Nashville.

Good location. However the room was shabby, didn't feel particularly clean, and came with an over-powering smell of air freshener. The bedspread also had 3-4 cigarette burn holes in it - and this in a non-smoking room! And a breakfast room with 8 tables just can't cater for the residents of 150 hotel rooms.

We had a great experience. Pool was great and the location was perfect

Good location to downtown and the highway. Not within 10 minutes walk of much interesting.

Overall, this is a great hotel, with a really good location for Vanderbilt and downtown Nashville. For the price, I couldn't have asked for more. The staff was courteous and helpful, conversational and friendly. Breakfast was much better than the typical free continental breakfast, including a make-your-own waffle station. My only complaint was that there were some wet spots in the carpet; from the smell I would presume from a recent shampooing. This was in keeping with the overall cleanliness of the hotel, another plus.

The hotel was nice and clean. Pretty fair priced. Not as close to everything as we thought it was. It was a bit of a walk to the different attractions. There is no indoor pool

Great location, comfortable room and beds. Bathroom was small. I had an appointment at Vanderbilt. Great location. Room was very comfortable. Bathroom was a little small. Staff was very friendly.

Within walking distance to downtown, clean, comfortable recently remodeled rooms. Very friendly and accomodating staff, wonderful breakfast. Would stay here again.

We checked in late and were tired after travel and a Nashville Predators game. Our daughter was already in the shower when we turned back one of the beds to find a blood stain on the blanket. If this was not enough to freak you out we turned the blanket back to find that the stain was on the sheets, pad and matress. Our call to the front desk was met with disbelief and upon coming to the room the manger immediately moved us to a new room, which we inspected before staying. The hotel never offered to comp our room. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel was centrally located and made it easy to walk to any part of downtown Nashville. The bathtub was old and had multiple cracks in its surface.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights tues-fri. The front desk people were very helpful checking in/out and recomending restaurants/services in the area. The hotel is too far from downtown to walk at night, but taking a cab costs about $7 one way and is a nice alternative to walking. There is a bar with great food and live music across the street called the Tin Roof. For a hotel in a major city the hotel was great and affordable but the area did make me slightly nervous although we didn't run into any problems.

The stay was okay. The rooms were clean. We were woken by drilling outside our room....this went on our entire stay. I understand you have to do maintenance work but ALL morning?

Location. The room was disgusting. I will never stay again, however to end on a nice note, the location was great.
Date of Stay:

Property clean, however access to rooms is from the outside of the hotel not the lobby. Reasonably priced for the area

The bathroom was very dirty. Did not sleep all nite due to girls fighting 2 doors down. The bedspreads had burn holes and it was a smoke free room.

The staff was very helpful with giving directions around the city. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom in the room were tiny. They were way smaller than usual.

A delightful stay, friendly, helpful staff. Good, safe parking, would return next time in town.
