Directly across from a state beach so unobstructed views of the Gulf-even side rooms have unexpectedly good views. The unobstructed view of the ocean, direct access and distance between neighboring businesses unexpectedly raise the value of the hotel. Friendly service and clean as well.

"This hotel is great for the price. It is within walking distance (1/4 mile) to the beach ($4/car), (1/8 mile) to Wal-Mart, and (100 yards) to Fudpuckers, an awesome restuarant with live alligators you can feed. Outlet mall is just a few miles away with around 50 different stores from sports to purses to watches to clothes. A great stay overall!!!"

Clean, nice location across street from Henderson Beach State Park couldn't walk it with little kids, $1 to walk in, $4 for car), restaurants next door and Wal-Mart for anything you need (they had the greatest selection of beach toys, boogie boards, sunscreen, bathing suits, towels). One front desk staff lady was a little icy, the rest were helpful, courteous.

Great location. Needed more staff just to answer phones. The hotel was great! My family loved staying the two nights that we were there. I honestly do not have one complaint. Even though we were there spring break week, it was truly a great place. I have already recommended this hotel to coworkers.

We are a family of 4 and had never been to Destin. We had a GREAT stay. Loved the hotel. Very nice and clean. Could walk to Wal-mart or Fudpuckers(a restaurant that displays alligators-very fun) from hotel. Also very close to Beach. Henderson Park is across the street. They have bathrooms and showers to wash the sand off. Thanks for the great stay. We would stay here again any day.

The staff wasextremely friendly and helpful, and I could see the ocean from my room! The hotel was extremely nice. The staff was friendly. The room was clean, and the room service even folded my clothes that I had left on the bed when they made it. I could see the ocean from my room, and while other comments read that the street can't be crossed, I found it to be a brisk 2-minutes (and there was a crosswalk too). The beach was clean and nice, and it was family-friendly, but it was also nice for me and my partner as a romantic weekend getaway. There are tons of nice restaurants nearby (had two meals a day not including the hotel breakfast - very nice for continental free - with biscuits, gravy, and make-them-yourself waffles!]. We went during what happened to be spring break, but there were no problems or drunk teens (although if that's what you want - Panama City Beach is only half an hour away). The trip was a great one for us, and I cannot wait to return! I will stay at this hotel again.

The indoor pool rocked! No view of the Gulf what so ever. All in all it was a great stay!

It was really clean, and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were a little cramped. The hotel was kept in very good shape. My room was really clean, and the appliances (coffee maker, mini-fridge, and microwave) looked new and worked. It was an overall good experience. The location is close to public beaches, but my group drove a couple miles down the road to lay at a private beach with some friends. I wished that maybe it had been a little closer to all the other hotels, but that's my only negative thing to say about it.

The staff was very friendly and helpful .The hotel was close to the beach. It could have been cleaner, there was hair in the bedroom and in the bed.
