My daughter and I stayed here to go to Corning Museum of Glass. We enjoyed the pool and the workout room. The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was a very nice extra. The only thing that I did not like was the smell of cigarette smoke in the hallways. It was very strong.

It was very convenient to the Corning Museum where we went. The floor we were on smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking floor. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling. The hotel was convenient to the Museum and just adequate for our stay. I felt it was not worth the money.

Overall room was decent & clean, but the bathroom had a lot of mold - especially around the base of the wall near the tub - one of the tiles, in the tile baseboard fell off, and it was pretty nasty behind it.

My husband and I stayed in Corning for a one night get-away. The Comfort Inn was a very nice hotel and the hotel staff was very friendly. We forgot our toothpaste, and they even provide sample size t-paste at the front desk! The included breakfast buffet was fantastic, with make-your-own waffles and all kinds of other foods (hot scrambled eggs, ham, muffins, cereal, fruit). The breakfast alone saved us money (and the price we paid for the hotel room was low to begin with). We will definately stay here again should we come to Corning. Also found a fabulous Italian restaurant downtown (Sorge's) that we would recommend. All in all, was a great hotel to stay at, in a very nice town to visit!

My family was able to use this hotel as a college getaway and to see the fall foliage. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was great and breakfast was good especially the waffles. They could have used more tables for breakfast. We were within walking distance of the Corning Muesum and within a pharmacy and a grocery store.

Pool, breakfast, overall room set up. Hard bed, woke up stiff and sore. Not bad for an overnight, I wouldn't want to spend a week there.

We LOVED the indoor pool...and the plentiful towels :). It wasn't big, so if there were a lot of people in there, it might feel crowded, but for our family of 5, it was perfect! Beds were comfy, room was spacious - 5 stars!"

The hotel was within walking distance of most of the area attractions. The walk was a little far if you don't usually spend much time walking, but it was definitely doable. For 2 women traveling, the hotel seemed to do a good job with the security, I felt safe and secure. The staff was very pleasant.

Friendly staff. Breakfast. Bad need of remoldeling, not a place you'd want to hang around in to relax. Not up to comfort inn standards.

This hotel required a copy of my driver's license. When I objected I was told it was hotel policy. They had my credit card and my automobile license number. I wouldn't have objected to showing the driver's license to identify myself, but there was no need to copy my license which contained my address. I will not stay there again.

Expensive for the area andno indoor pool.

This place was within walking distance from CMOG. Nice pool. Great Staff. Continental breakfast was good. Non-smoking room did smell like stale smoke. Price should be lower. We paid * for one night... no frills, but nice enough place

The indoor pool. Paint chipping in bathroom. For a one night stay I would prefer this hotel again.

It was clean nice size room. There was an indoor pool. The hotel was clean, neat and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. The breakfast was great. I would definitely stay at another Comfort Inn.

Excellent staff. Located near tourist sites. Musty odor in stairwell leading outside. Rooms needed two chairs.

Location and express checkout. Workmanship in the room. The employee that checked us in was not friendly. Good location and convenient. The workmanship around the hot tub wasn't impressive in the bathroom. A little over priced.

The staff was great. Pool was over crowded. We had a great time at the hotel.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Didn't have adequate towels in pool area.

They were quick to help you out. You had to lug your luggage upstairs! Staff is wonderful, very helpful. They make great popcorn. The problem with this hotel is you have to walk stairs. If you have a physical problem~~like I do~~it's a big problem. I had to drag my suitcase up and down a flight of stairs. We chose a non-smoking room so we didn't have stairs to deal with, as we have had to in the past, but even their non-smoking rooms were upstairs. There is not a handicapped or ADA box to check if you have special needs!
