The room was small and the guests were noisy. The air conditioner barely worked and when we called it took 1 day for them to fix it. The continental breakfeast was very small not even a doughnut. The pool was very small.

Great value for fair price. Super convenient, clean, well managed, breakfast is modest yet adequate, very nice experience for a low price.

The room was very clean, and the staff was excellent. Free internet was great, and so was the breakfast. I would stay there again, and I would recomend it to others.

Location, nice bed pillows. Short staffed in the pm. Had to wait 10 min to get checked in.

This hotel has recently been completely remodeled and is in great condition. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The price is a little high, especially since the breakfast is skimpy, but I stayed on a weekend and this is a college town.

We enjoyed the malted waffles in the breakfast. We were put on the second floor and there was no elevator - or it was not working. Nice enough. This was a no frills, comfortable hotel and with a decent breakfast including cereal, pastries, juices, coffee, fruit, yogurt, and make-your-own waffles. Our room was quiet and large enough to fit our Pack and Play crib in one corner. While the location was far from scenic, it was convenient to where we needed to go. During our stay, the breakfast area was out of coffee for a while and the elevator wasn't working. Neither my husband or I slept very well on the bed and all of the pillows felt the same so there were no choices. The pool has no steps at the shallow end, only a ladder. The hot tub was warm rather than hot and the jets weren't working either. Minor flaws in our book, but contributed to a less than perfect experience.

We checked the price, etc. of other motels in the area of Iowa City. We chose this because of the lower price. My wife and I are seniors and were greatly impressed by the fine staff, friendly and accomodating. The room was all we could hope for, bed very comfortable. Breakfast was very good with boiled eggs and waffles. I can't see any reason why we would choose another Motel in this area unles we wanted one with room service. By the way, Flannigan's Bar and Grill which is a few blocks away is great.

Clean, quite helpful staff. Breakfast hours to short on weekdays.

We arrived at 3:00 am greeted with a smile, got to the room, it felt clean, was asleep within 20 minutes. Opened the window in the morning to a propane refueling station, (scary feeling). Clean, comfortable, safe. What more can you ask for when your not in your own home. I felt the security was in place and active. The room was very pleasant and comfortable. I got a clean feeling about the room, is a great place to rest your body.

Room was clean and orderly. No elevator to second floor,we are 72 years old. Over all we were satisfied with the room and service from the staff. The only thing was the breckfast selections. We would stay again even so.

They upgraded my room for a very small price to a suit. Room needed a good dusting. For the most part it was clean. The staff was friendly and the room was quiet.

The employee working at the front desk was very helpful. This hotel was extremely accommodating to my needs. I was only staying one night and it couldn't have been better.

The cleanliness and the microwave and fridge. And the staff was friendly. Can't think of anything. Was a great place to stay and I would recommend it to all our friends.
