it was an okay place to rest, however I would look elsewhere to stay and use that as a back up. However I must say that for the area surrounding the hotel it was well kept. Beds were okay, however the AC didn't work very well making it a little uncomfortable for sleeping. Also, it was a little noisy, but that could be expected considering what is around the hotel.

Wow, the hotel is fine but the location is very very dodgey. I am 6'2" and I would not walk to the corner in daylight.

Closest place to eat was Burger King or Subway did not feel safe walking on sidewalks. Front desk was NO help when I asked about close-by dining locations and TV did not work. Rooms tiny. Air conditioning was very, very noisy due to bad fan motor. Room smelled moldy and of cigarette smoke (non-smoking room). Slept with lights on to keep roaches from moving around. Window would not close properly, so that I could adequately lock window. In evening, an employee hanging out in back parking lot had his van backed up to my exterior window with stereo blasting. Reported to front desk, and nothing was done. This continued over an hour. I finally got attention of the employee in parking lot and he did MOVE the fan a few windows down, but music still continued until way after dark. Front desk did not give wake up call - the evening clerk had forgot to make note I wanted wake-up. The breakfast area was adequate; standard dry cereal, bagels, bread, orange juice and lemonade (??? for breakfast), coffee (very good), and fresh waffles. I will say, the breakfast attendant was outstanding. Very, very noisy hotel; sirens going off constantly due to emergency traffic - understand there was a violent crime had taken place that evening shortly after dark. attendant, most hotel staff had very poor English skills.

We went and saw Dane Cooks comedy show. The front desk clerk was very helpful. She helped us get a cab and informed us about the surrounding area. She also helped us with latenight food. Great costumer service!

The hotel meets your basic needs. The night clerk on check-in was friendly--the day staff were cordial. The location goes from "downtown" to a somewhat seedy part of downtown. You do have to drive to the main attractions of downtown. Parking was a crap shoot---if you get back to the hotel after 9:00pm, all the parking could be taken, and the street becomes the alternative. Continental breakfast was sufficient.

Hotel was convenient location. This place had a good free breakfast. Rooms were nice but parking was tight. But at any rate, good value for the money. I'll book again. Oscar the front desk manager was awesome.

Anything east of the 110 is a bit shady. The hotel was in decent shape. Repairs in the restroom were still needed although it was "remodeled" recently. You had crack tile, dirty grout, really loud toilet when you flushed, holes in walls. The adverstisement said free parking but they actually charge $2. Not that it's much since other hotels in Downtown charge $30 and up.

The room was very clean: Good continental breakfast: Pool was noce: Parking was NOTGood at all. The spaces are tight and hard to get out when hotel is full. There was a bus that took up a good portion of the lot for two nights. Front desk people were okay. When I booked in advance this hotel was labled as Downtown LA. It is not far from LAX but neighborhood is not very good for a family with small children. We had No saftey issues but there was a few incidents across the street the first night. I am from Philly so I am use to big city atmosphere but if you have small children I would not suggest this area. Overall a great value, clean rooms and I will stay here the next time I vist LA.

We were there with many other guests to see the Bruce Springsteen concert. The drive to the LA Sports Arena was a snap. There was always a wonderful cup of coffee with all the fixin's in the lobby -- what a treat.

Very friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms, very well located, internet access, good breakfast. My wife and I stayed 4 nights at this hotel and we liked very much.

Comfort Inn, City Center Los Angeles was a very comfortable place to stay for the two nights I was there. The breakfast accomodations were extensive, with the dining room being packed out both mornings I was there. It appeared that most of the guests felt the same as I did, with many enjoying the variety and service provided at the breakfast buffett/bar. The room was comfortably large enough, with good lighting, microwave, fridge, and coffe service. The neighborhood was a little rough, but I was in town for an event, and not for the atmosphere of the location. It was convenient to USC where I was attending a convention. I would definately consider staying there again.

I came to run the marathon. When I asked for extra blankets and pillows, they said they needed to wash them first and it took an hour and a half. BAD LOCATION! Remote control was duck taped together!

Very accommodating and helpful staff. Room was clean and neat. Accessible to transportation. Shops and eateries are just walking distance. I'll definitely recommend this inn.

We got to our first room and there was a HUGE roach! So they put us in a room downstairs and we thought that would be better. Then we killed 4 more in the other room. It was disgusting. They weren't your average roaches...they were HUGE

this place was horrible, when we got there from universal studios there was no parking...the front desk staff took a long time on the phone before checking us in. maybe they were short staffed? unfortunately I asked by girlfriend and her family to book a room there with my family and after we all got checked in, they saw a huge flying bug in their room, I was so embarressed...they checked out, but we had to stay because all the other hotels in downtown were booked. I am still telling this story a year later.

"Staff was not friendly, talked over the phone for a long time when we checked in. No double-bed room for us even we reserved it, had to stay in a signle-bed room. "

Comfort Inn City Center was located in a poor run-down section of the city and only a fool would venture out at night. The room had that musty cheap-motel scent, about it although it was clean enough. I would not return at any price.

"over all the hotel was a good place to stay especially for the price it was great, parking was bad after coming back from the game. "
