First time in this hotel. Very surpriseed, nice and clean and comfortable.

The front desk staff was very helpful with room issues and wanted to make us comfortable. It wasn't very clean and repairs were made that looked very sloppy and done by someone without any training. This hotel was in need of repair as it just wasn't taken care of. Items like mold on the caulking around the tub due to the bad application (not smoothed out). Lots of dead bugs in the lamp shades and window sills. The fire extinguisher/water sprinkler was buried under dust. The staff was friendly though and willing to fix our issues by moving us to another room right away but it wasn't much better. The continental breakfast was the worse I have ever encountered due to bad food items and cramped eating area.

Stayed in Carlsbad, NM enroute to the Guadalupe National Park. We really enjoyed our stay. We got a suite with a king. The room smelled good and was completely clean. The pool area was very clean and everything worked. The water was warm enought and very clean. We would go back.

OK continental breakfast. Vanity sink cracked and stained. Tub/shower had mold. Ceiling water stains. Comfortable bed. Linens wereclean.

Breakfast. dirty and rude staff. The walls were filthy, the pillows smelled, the room smelled funny, the staff was rude upon check-in.

Very comfortable beds. Pool and Jacuzzi was not in working order. Comfortable bed and beautiful atmosphere.

Not much. Room was dark, mattress was at least 15 yrs old. Room was dirty dark and old, mattress was at least 15 years old one of the two lamps was broken. They should change their name to the no comfort Inn.

Proximity to Grand Canyon. Dirty, cramped, cracked walls, ceilings, etc. We were very disappointed. I guess we weren't expecting something that rustic (aka run-down). The staff was nice - but we wouldn't want to stay there again.
