Date of Stay:

IThe wireless did not function! It is a very long walk from MetroStation.
Date of Stay:

Convenient location. Room smelled of smoke, the ceiling had extensive water damage and the rug was very dirty.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
The hotel is old and in much need of updating. The ceilings in the hall had large leak marks and it smelled old. The elevator was a problem and came to an abrupt stop. The kids preferreded to use the stairs...now that's a switch. The pool looked great but we didn't get a chance to use it.

This hotel was average. However, by Washington standards, it was a fairly inexpensive place to stay. I felt pretty safe and it was convenient to the Metro making it convenient to the rest of D.C.

Although, it is a little difficult to get to, especially if you are heading west, it is close to stores, restaurants (not on the premises)and DC and Arlington. The elevator holds 2 people and a luggage hauler, that's all. They had internet computer available in the lobby. The room was reasonably clean and towels were white, white, white. Either brand new or very clean. I would return but, not recommend it to friends.

Clean quiet and located near shopping area and eateries. They had theAC on whenI do not like a freezing room. This is not the first timeI have stayed here.I am very satisfied with the accomodations location was a very important part of it. it is a quiet place nice friendly staff and for the price what more couldI want.

We were in Va for my parents inurnment at Arlington National Cementary. The staff assisted us in finding resturants and getting to the cementary and getting to other places of interest. They were very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas.

Wow, only need 3 letters / 1 word. Everything was great. I have filled out a survey form at the hotel.

Thank you so much to the courteous and friendly staff who runs this establishment. It made our trip so much more enjoyable. They were very helpful, especially the shuttle bus drivers and desk clerks. Please say thank you to them for us.

The beds were very comfortable and attractive. Nothing. I stayed in the handicap room. It meets all the needs of a handicap person. I also liked the continental breakfast with the boiled eggs. The room the breakfast was served in was very very nice.

Wet and Stained carpets, dirty, thin walls (I could hear my neighborhoods using the bathroom).

Continental breakfast, computer in lobby, free shuttle, bathroom in separate room, shower. No restaurants nearby, out of the way location, pool closed early. This was basically somewhere to stay for the night, so we weren't there very long. After arriving early evening, we still needed to eat. There is a McDonald's next door but we were looking for a family restaurant. Unable to find anything after driving for ten minutes, we finally went to a Subway across the street. We couldn't go swimming because by that time the pool had closed. I still, however, would recommend this hotel. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast probably had the biggest selection of any on our trip. And I loved the waffles I made on the waffle maker. Delicious! I would recommend this hotel to business travelers and families doing DC.

Clean and quiet. No restaurant. We were very impressed with its cleanliness and with the quality of the breakfast. It was also very quiet. Complimentary newspapers were a plus. Very friendly staff.

Price was reasonable. Windows didn't open; AC broken, dirty. It was a disappointment from the room that was dirty to non-working air conditioning which made for an uncomfortable night sleep. The windows didn't open, so it was very warm. No premium channels on TV i.e. HBO, etc. Continental breakfast had two non working toasters and really stale food.

Good hotel. Room was nice and the high speed internet worked good. The little fridge in the room was also a plus. Nice continental breakfast each morning. The only down side was the divided street made access hard but not too difficult.

Nothing. Terrible. First time in my life in the U.S, I've seen a room as terrible as this one. Bathroom has no tub, just shower stand with no door, no divider, nothing to prevent water from flooding the whole bathroom floor. After one shower, the floor was overflowed with water. The carpet area outside at the AC unit was soaking wet, red carpet was blacken because of water absorbent since very long ago. Bed was creaking by just seating on it.

Housekeepers wake me up at 9 AM on weekends. Shower faucet was broken. No hot water. It took three complaints and 4 days to have this problem fixed.

Location to Washington attractions was a plus and for the right price. Could have had better traveler documents (i.e. local restaurants, maps, etc.) Great economy-scale hotel near Washington attractions. Shuttle service to Metro was a great plus, and this service is what makes my stay there again an almost definite. Good selection of quick breakfast items served, clean facility, and friendly staff.

Price & convince to o.k. Smell downstairs. Good hotel for the price and convince to o.k. Area.
Date of Stay:

People were nice. Moldy smell in room. Missing coffee pot, staff quickly brought new one didn't work so brought another. Hotel was basic. Mostly clean, stained rug, musty smell. Difficulty with internet. There was phone number to call to get connected but after leaving I had trouble reconnecting at home. Breakfast was good. Plenty of healthy choices and ready by 6 am. People were very friendly and helped whenever possible.
