Date of Stay:

They had a shuttle that dropped off and picked up from METRO station. Noisy air conditioner, made it hard to sleep. Good, but not great. Would stay here again, but I would bring ear plugs. Air conditioners was noisy.

Free shuttle to metro, continental breakfast, gift shop, gym and (limited) restaurant on site.

I didn't have time to use the hotel services, but the rooms are clean and I had an easy commute to Alexandria. This hotel is easy to get to as it is right off of I-495. However, if you plan on staying for several nights, take note of the fact that there are no microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms. Other than that I had a pleasent stay at the Comfort Inn Alexandria.

We had several issues during our stay. The A/C unit made a horrible noise and we called about it 3 times over 3 hours eventually having turn it off and try to sleep in a 80 Degree room. We had requested a crib and it took about an hour before one was made available. When I tried to use the elevator on the 5th floor, the door would not open. One of the elevators was there so the other one never came to our floor. It would beep like the elevator arrived but would never open. We ended up having to carry our luggage down 5 floors. The carpet in the hallways was stained from foot traffic and looked like it had never been cleaned. Overall I would have to say this is the worst hotel I have stayed in. We had decided to stay here because it was a little cheaper, well we got what we paid for. The next night we stayed in another hotel - Tim

Location. Room assignment. Upon arrival, we were not assigned our correct room. When the clerk gave us another room, we opened the door, and it was already occupied. We were then given a third room. We left our bags, and then went to DC. When we returned late that night, we had to suffer all night because the AC did not work. Next morning, we asked it to be repaired, and left for the day. Upon returning at 6 PM, the AC had not been repaired. So we were given a fourth room in two days. The AC in this room did work. The free breakfast items were satisfactory. Desk staff were friendly and helpful in spite of our inconvenience about the rooms. Very exasperating.

Nicer than I was expecting. They have a restaurant on site, gift shop, exercise room, and a free shuttle to the nearby Van Dorn metro. Definately a good value for what they charge.

The Comfort Inn in Alexandria was very clean and the room comfortable. The front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant, and very friendly. The van to the meto was very helpful and was alwas quick to drop us off and pick us up. Overall experience was wonderful and would recommend this hotel highly to anyone wanting to visit the DC area.

The room was decorated nice and cozy. It was very clean and it was nice to have a safe in the room. We slept like babies!

Pets, washer and dryer, convenient. No restaurant. Nice clean place, friendly staff, includes a motel store to purchase items you may have forgotten, outdoor pool, ice cream vending machine, and washer and dryers.

Great hotel, clean rooms, free shuttle to the metro, and great help at the front desk. Only draw back is breakfast ends at 9 in the weekday. Free parking also! Would stay again!

The view was nice, even though it wasn't ocean view. The hotel needed updated and cleaned up. There were a lot of people lingering around the front enterance, which took away from the sense of security that I expect from a hotel. For the money, it was alright.

The staff seemed friendly. It was not cleaned properly. They gave my requested room away. It was located in a high traffic area, hard to get in and out of the hotel. The hotel overbooked the room that we had called and requested over a month in advance. We paid extra for a refrigerator that was not made record of. There were teenagers running all over the hotel, screaming and jumping up and down. The whirlpool tubs were not properly kept up and cleaned. When we turned it on for our two little kids all sorts of debris flew out of the jets. The only pool was outside. The wallpaper was coming off of the wall. One side of the room electricity did not work. One of the lamps didn't even have a bulb in it. We have stayed at plenty of Comfort Inns before and never expected such deplorable conditions.

Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast each morning along with a USA Today paper was a great start to the day and the free shuttle to and from the Metro Station was the best. Finding the hotel was easy and once there, only used the shuttle to the metro as we were there to tour and see D.C. Would stay here again in a heartbeat for the price!

M wife daughter and I stayed there for 2 nights. The lady at the desk was very accomodating and helpful. The restaurant could stand some more choices, but overall I would stay here again

Easily accessible location near Metro. Limited breakfast choices. That area poorly arranged. In D.C. for retirement of family member from the Army. This hotel only 2 miles from their house, so it was chosen primarily on it's location. Stayed 4 nights. Did not use any facilities except the breakfast bar once. Tried one other time, but it was filled with students and there was no seating. Basically clean. Furniture adequate, but king room was very small with no storage area for luggage. Small table and chairs but no desk. Older TV.

This was a fine hotel, especially for the price! The room was clean and everything worked well. The maid that cleaned the room each day went the extra mile and it always looked very inviting on our return. This hotel is quite close to a Metro station and they have a free shuttle that will take you there and later pick you up. The continental breakfast is nothing special, but provided a quick bite to get you started in the morning. If you are in DC to visit the sites, this is a good place to stay. You can't beat the price!

The elevator was not working and we had to walk up to the 6th floor...because I am just recovering from leukemia...it was difficult. We took our time and all was well. Everything else was good for us.

I liked the location as it was right off the expressway.

RUN AWAY - this is a ROACH MOTEL in a BAD NEIGHBORHOOD had to check out and find somewhere else to stay to get away from the roaches and the scary people hanging out in front of this dive

I enjoyed my stay. I left my toiletries bag and I went back to the hotel and they had set it aside for me. I was so grateful I had my maids and contact in it.
