My husband and I stayed there after spending the day at Huckleberry railroad. We have stayed in Comfort Inn's before and always enjoyed it. I can not say the same for this one. Upon entering the hallway smelled of B.O., when we got to our room it was a non-smoking when we asked for smoking, the room was dingy and dark looking. Then we decided to go check out te pool. As soon as we walked in you noticed how dirty it was. There were no towls, hot tub had a light brown ring of dirt as well as the pool, not to mention there was several globs of black hair floating on top. Kids were running up and down the hall screaming, not to mention a lady cussing loudly at her boyfriend was what we had to listen to. The only thing we liked was it as convienant to get on the freeway, and there was several resturaunts to choose from outside the hotel.

The heater was very loud and ran nearly all the time. I turned the heater off and the motor still ran more frequently and louder. We got very little sleep. Maintenance was no help.

We booked the park and fly package that included our overnight stay, breakfast and the shuttle to the airport. It was a great convenience and savings. Our car was left in their parking lot and we saved tons! The room was great, pool was refreshing and the overall experience was great!

At check in the employee was dressed unprofessionally with a stained and wrinkled company shirt. The entire surroundings including the hallways were untidy. The gaps between the room door including the adjoining room were wide allowing lots of noise to enter the room. The room was out of date and needs some extensive updates and upgrades. Deffinately not worth the price per night. Very disapointed with whole experience.

It was easy to get to and clean. Not enough pressure in the showerhead. We really enjoyed this hotel. Rooms were clean and the pillows really soft. We would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was nothing special but it was free.

After being first sent to a room, with an entrance key, that was still being used by other guests, I became very concerned about safety. It made me wonder how many other mistakes might be made. A good feature of my stay was the continental breakfast, which was clean and nicely set up, but the receptionist did not inform me of the continental breakfast upon check-in. I did read it later in the hotel info booklet and after confirming it with the housekeeper. I think they missed a goodwill point with their guest. I did not think the optional delivery menus provided enough of a variety for any meal. My grandson enjoyed the pool. More clarity about the use of pool towels should be displayed either in bathrooms or in pool area. I would have to say that the Comfort Inn in Flint was a good value, but a little more attention to small details would have made my stay more enjoyable.

The location. Poor breakfast seating and no food available. The swimming pool is shared with another hotel and was taken over by one group playing volleyball which made it unavailable for other families trying to use is. The pool was the main reason I chose this hotel. The breakfast area had no seating available and the food by the time we got there was dry and stale, and the food area closed at 9 on a Sunday morning. When I made complaints and asked to have my shoes that I left in my room sent to me, I had to pay the postage even though I could not use all the facilities I had specifically paid for.

Bathroom very clean. Room was shabby but clean. No elevator. I was disappointed by how worn and shabby the place looked. I had to carry a suitcase & briefcase up flight of stairs as there was no elevator. Bedspread and carpet were worn but clean and bathroom was very clean even in the corners. Refrigerator in room made a grinding noise all night long. Just loud enough to be annoying. Staff was friendly. Breakfast in morning was nicely served.

Fitness room was not crowded - toes night wings were great - breakfast was good, too. I reserved a king bed but received 2 queens instead - why make a reservation if you cannot have what you reserved? It was nice enough that a business associate changed her reservations at another local hotel to stay at the comfort inn.

It was conveniently located to shopping and dining. I kept losing internet connection, not able to print boarding passes, price paid for hotel in this city should have better quality.

Convenient close to nice restaurants. I liked everything. First of all it was a business trip for me and my husband came along to keep me company. You do not have a choice for that one on number 11, only business solo. I will be returning to Flint in about a month or so and will stay in the same hotel, Comfort Inn.
