The main thing i have to say about this hotel is the size of the rooms. Any other hotel the room they class as a double would be considered a single ensuite. Very little places to put out clothes if you were staying for any length of time. Other than that everything else was satisfactory

Good hotel, and lovely room. I needed to get to the InterIslander terminal the next day, and the hotel suggested I get a taxi or a shutttle, both of which cost a lot of money. They didn't tell me about the free shuttle that leaves from the railway station, and I think this kind of information should have been available to them.

It was one of the best three star hotels I had stayed in. Right in the centre of Wellington, friendly staff, good service, absolute cleanliness. What more can anyone want.

very small room, beds comfortable and warm but room drafty. No fridge or toaster. Bedlamp would not reach a power plug so could not be used without getting an extension cord. Very small TV and poor lighting

Good clean, small room with no fridge. OK value for money. Ask for a room off Cuba street frontage as it gets pretty noisy.

Located around Hobson street there are many restaurants in the near vicinity. The staff was very helpful so we really enjoyed our stay here. Recommended

Hi, The only comment I realy have to make was that the noise at night was a bit more then I would expect, especially foot traffic on the level above. i would not expect the noise of people walking up and down the corridor to disturb me... otherwise found the staff and service adequate and enjoyed my stay.

perfect location. close to central wellington, courtenay place, theatres, tourist centre, bus to airport. good bed and managed to get good nights sleep. staff very pleasant and helpful. will stay there again. thanks guys.

A lovely old hotel with restored wooden staircases, windows and doors, modern rooms and ensuites. Great location on Cuba St where there is a great variety of cafes and restaurants and great ambience.

Generally very good, Maybe wouldnt recommend staying on a friday, saturday or wednesday night as Cuba Street gets very loud due to the clubbing areas. Also the curtains seemed to small for the windows. Other wise is a good hotel and I would recommend it
