New favorite Boston Hotel - The Colonnade. We absolutely loved the hotel. The new rooms at the hotel were incredible. Bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Very large flat screen tv with high def! Spacious and clean room and we loved the floor to ceiling windows. Son could use ipod in clock. We also loved the keuirg coffee machine in the room. Rooms have no desk but dining table instead. Colors are chocolate brown and lavender. Very nice health club and unfortunately the pool was closed when we visited. Highly recommend! This is simply an amazing hotel and location in Boston's Back Bay. The price was very reasonable and the service was simply impeccable. A great French restaurant with an excellent bar is part of this hotel. Took advantage of a very nice roof top pool, although it can be a bit windy sometimes.Loved the fact that the T stop was right outside the front door and the Prudential Center with great shops and restaurants was right across the street. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary there and was not disappointed at all. In fact, the hotel sent us a very nice welcome and congratulatory amentity after learning of our anniversary and decision to stay there. The concierge service was awesome. And their best staff were the greeters/bellhops, especially [...] and [...].Would go back to the Colonnade in a heart beat!

The bed was extremely comfortable. Great soft pillows and a cozy comforter. The bathroom was small. We really enjoyed at our stay at the Colonnade. It's located in an upscale part of Boston, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The T station right outside made it easy to get to other parts of town quickly and inexpensively.

A very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff was wonderful and went beyond the call of duty. The location is perfect, right in front of a train station.First trip to Boston and loved the city and this hotel. Would definately stay there again.

All hotels in Boston are supposed to be no smoking. Smoke poured through the large gap from between my room and the room next door. I reported it to the front desk, but it happened every day I was there. I have stayed here several times and haven't had an issue, but not so good this time. Moved to another hotel down the street the third night and had a great room with no smoke.

Location wasexcellent, bedding was very comfortable. Bathroom was very small, air conditioning didn't work that well. The hotel is in a fantastic location in the Back Bay area close to everything very easy to walk everywhere. The beds, bedding were extremely comfortable and there wasn't much noise so sleeping conditions were great. Unfortunately the bathroom was a bit small and the fan didn't work so the hotel room got warm very quickly. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Per the company website: "The Colonnade Hotel is an independent Boston luxury hotel with 285 elegantly appointed rooms and luxury suites". The problem is that not all rooms have been renovated, and even though we made our reservations months ago, we got one of the shabbiest rooms I have ever stayed in. Definately not elegantly appointed. Very basic room with torn bedspread, stained shower curtain, showerhead not attached to the wall, stained and snagged drapes. No coffee pot and 19 inch TV if that. Smelled badly of smoke, although the floor was supposed to be non smoking. Staff claimed they could not change our room due to hotel fully booked. A very disappointing experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the convenience of the transit right outside the hotel door. Conceirge services were very gracious, also. Highly recommend to all.

Bathroom renovation was really great, as was the water pressure. Lobby design could have been prettier, & they left food in hallways. Old time elegance meets sophisticated renovations. This was a great business hotel right across from the Pru Center, the T and the Hynes convention center all where I needed access to. I could have stayed all day in the bathroom, it was so spacious! I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.

I travel more than half the year on business and this is one of the worst hotels I have visited. I was put in a room where someone had smoked and no remedy supplied. Uncomfortable bed. Only nominally clean. This place is awful. Stay away.

I recently stated at the Colonade with my wife, and we had a pleasant experience...the room was quite comfortable. The one overall negative was the design of the hotel which i found a bit cold.

The design. The elevators, and there was only one girl at the front desk.

Nice clean hotel. I stayed with my young daughter and husband. We were out mostly but enjoyed a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. Pool was beautiful- a bit cold but nice.

Beautiful hotel- room was lovely & beds were comfortable. It is $10 for 24 hours of wireless internet and $35 for 24-hour parking in their garage. Minibar is in the room, along with HUGE flat screen TV. Bathroom is beautiful and the many mirrors give the illusion of a larger bathroom. Fitness center was small, but got the job done. Rooftop pool is also small, but refreshing & there is a bar and tables to sit and relax. In-hotel restaurant, Brasserie Jo, is delicious. We had breakfast there twice- we had the freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juices, fresh fruit, poached eggs benedict, egg white omelette, yogurt and granola and potatoes are DELICIOUS. The hotel is directly across the street from the Prudential Center & 30 seconds from the T. Highly recommend!

The hotel staff was great. Very friendly. The rooms were upscale. The toilet was dirty when we first checked in, but housekeeping was good there after. The room was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Well located near shopping, and the Boston attractions. We stayed there while running the Boston Marathon. Food was good in La Brasserie.

The amenities are nice and clean, the concierge was friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to the train, T and local shopping. The view is not great (might be better on higher floors). The attached parking lot is being worked on, so don't plan on sleeping past 8am on the lower floors. The restaurant is expensive, but a mall with a food court is just across the street.

The Colonnade in Boston was a cool hotel with really modern decor! The bed was so comfortable and it was nice to look out the window and see the Back Bay neighborhood. We got room service which was delicious and check in and out was easy! Right off the Prudential Green Line stop! Walking distance from Fenway (about a mile) and Boston Public Garden!

Great design, good service, and amazing location! Internet connection is expensive. Recently remodeled, conveniently located - worth every cent!

"The hotel and our room was nice and quite comfortable, although I was expecting the room to be a bit nicer given the high rating here. The toilet in the room didn't work, but it was repaired as soon as we brought it to their attention. The thermostat seemed to be for decoration only, and the room was always a bit too warm for my taste. Comfortable bed and good sized room were pluses. All in all, worth the price I paid."

Very, very friendly housekeeping staff. The young man at the desk on Saturday evening did not respond to my question as he should have. Very nice hotel with a good location. The lobby lacks the welcome feeling. The restaurant has wine glasses that make a person not want wine. The bed was wonderful and the room was clean. They use limited room space very well.
