After reading some good comments on other sites about Colonial,we decided to stay there.To our misfortunate---ALL I CAN SAY IS WHAT A DUMP!-----This place is old and run down and dirty.they obviously have their friends write up good comments for them.Do not be fooled by this old filth hole.It is gross,out of date and out of touch.I would not recommend it to my worst enemy.It is an absolute hole.Room was dirty and not cleaned.Yards are filthy.Motel is run down and major dated.The best thing that could happen to this place is to knock it down.Stay in one of the better places in the other end of Gananoque like we did after we checked out of this dive.Stay away from this place.

This is not a Resort.Let me first off start by saying get some decent housekeepers.A ring on the tub,urine and feces on the toilet-plus hair.Also signs of hair in the bed and an appearance that the sheets had not been changed from the last guest.All I have to say is gross!I do not recommend this place for anyone to stay.Go spend your money on a better place and stay away from this hole.Absolutely disgusting.

We chose this hotel to stay at because we thought it sounded nice with the name Resort.To our dismay,we found our room to be not be cleaned very well.We found a ring on the tub,hair and urine on the toilet seat,and it didnt appear like our sheets had been changed either as there was hair in the bed.I would not recommend anyone stay in a place like this where the rooms are not even being cleaned properly.Take your money and stay in a better decent place up the road.We will never be back here.
