The resort is located just 10 minutes south of the san Pedro Airport on the beach where most of the restuarant and gift shop are located.

The front beach restaurant provides with freshest and best seafood in the island. The chef provides the guest different dishes everyday from seafood, Gourmet food, belizean food to pasta and pizza.

The Coconuts Carribean Hotel was perfect for me as a single adult. It wasn't posh, but certainly fulfilled my travel needs. My room was supplied with a small refrigerator, an unopened gallon of bottled water, a table and chair, cable TV, coffee pot, hair dryer clock radio, and a microwave. Tucked away in the closet was a roll-away bed if needed. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a very friendly desk manager (whom I have emailed personally and thanked) who took care of me as if I had been there on many previous stays (this was my first visit). After I was settled in, he took the time to introduce me to the owner. Additionally, he was very knowledgable and helpful in assisting me in my vacation jaunts. The hotel was also able to provide me with extra cash against my VISA card for a nominal 3% fee. The location was within easy and safe walking distance (evenings also) just south of downtown San Pedro. I'll stay again.

Where should I start. When we arrived the ac wasn't working, some of the lights in the room weren't working along with the fan. The water drizzled out of the shower and there was one day there was no water at all. The pool was so dirty you couldn't see through it, they even had to close it for a day. We never touched the water in the pool let alone swim in it. The open bar was located under our room and wouldn't have been so bad but the huge music speakers were direct at our room and the sound level was so loud that the furniture was vibrating in our room. They promised a credit back for the problems but they didn't come through. We were highly disappointed with the lack of service and their lack of concern for our comfort. online travel website should check these places out.

I am an avid traveler and have visited Belize many times and stayed at many different places. We booked our last trip on short notice & used the reviews to try a different place to stay. Coconuts had great reviews so we decided to give it a try. Poor choice! Upon arrival we arrived by a $5 taxi ride & were greeted with unfriendly service & escorted to our 3rd floor room dragging luggage up old wood steps & walking into a dingy pot smoked filled room. Anyway we decided to make the best of it & headed down to have a drink by the above ground pool w/ dirty looking water Gross. Service at the bar was fair & music loud so we headed back to the room to turn in, about that time a fight broke out at the pool, Relaxing. The bed was hard as a rock & the sheets as old as the hotel, awful nights sleep. Next morning went in search of new place to stay for the rest of our trip. Ended up at Captain Morgans on the north end, better beaches great rooms & service.

This is a very nice older hotel. A good place to stay if you want to see the real part of San Pedro Island. A bit of a trip from the airport. $25 to the water taxi and then an hour by boat. They have a live band most nights, more than other hotels in the area, you are right on the beach and only a few minutes boat ride to the Barrier Reef. The only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was a bit lowbut it was a nce room. The staff and owner are very friendly and very helpful.Complimentary bottled water in the room each day. I will return again. When we were there in March the beaches were not crowded at all. More of a getaway for a romantic couuple. I like the fact that there are not private beaches, the public can walk from one end of the Island to the other on the beach. This is a place where the people speak English, your dollars are welcome, not need to change to Belize dollars.

very acceptable would definately stay here again close to everything clean can leave your dive equipment laying nobody bothers it ciose towater and pier so dive operations can pick you up highly recommend this place

We arrived on very short notice, and it was the best thing that ever happened to us! The hotel is spotless and located in the best area on the Caye, near enough to town to walk, but far enough to have some peace, there is live music every night and the restaurant serves great fresh food! But what really makes this place special is the people! Starting with the owners ,to the staff, to the patrons! From the moment you check in you feel like you've found people like you, good, honest, fun people. We felt so at home and so taken care of, I can't describe our time there with the appropriate words! Definitly have them take you parasailing! We enjoyed our stay so much we will be returning in Nov 09, and I never go to the same place twice! We met soo many fantastic people, whom I would dare call friends now. Please, if you are going to San Pedro, STAY HERE, you will not be disappointed!

Coconuts is an older resort, that's been very well maintained with all the amenities you'll need for a laid back vacation on the beach. The rooms are large, matresses great! The exceptional thing about Coconuts was the friendliness and attention given by the staff. They went out of their way giving advice and helping make arrangements for the activities we wanted to participate in. The nightly music iopen air bar was what attracted us initially. Coconuts is a short walk to the center of town which affords a little more seclusion in a very beautiful setting. Super vacation !! we'll be back!

The staff at Coconuts made us feel like we were part of their family. The rooms were clean. It's not the ritz in terms of luxery, but we really enjoyed ourselves at this hotel. I learned that the current owners had the place for about 7 months and had more plans for improvement and expansion. I would love to return and see it. Seriously, the staff is what made this hotel. I feel like I made friends that I want to visit.

A very nice and very clean place to stay. The owners were great to meet and very friendly. All of the staff were friendly and willing to help with whatever issues arose. There was live music almost every night and many of the locals came to listen. Props to staff at the bar.

Great Suites, friendly staff, good location for visiting the coral reef, great food, great entertainment, beautiful beach and sunrise over the ocean....all around great vacation spot..
