The room was little more than a closet with a bed and a bathroom that an average person would not fit in to. Everything was dirty. There were hairs on the ceiling. The complimentary shampoo smelled terrible. For the same amount of money, I have stayed in much nicer places with more room and greater amenities.

Right across street from Avis, where I rented car, and big shopping center with movie theater. Surly front desk receptionist. Tiny room. Tried to charge more than Priceline price; I had to correct them. Very basic. Desk clerk was downright surly - at first, tried to charge more than the Priceline price. Did not inform me that continental breakfast was available. Tiny room. Good WiFi service. Television is not high-definition. Bathroom has no shelves to place things. Room was very clean, however.

The room, though small, was clean and efficiently laid out. Smallest bathroom I've ever seen. The location is very convenient to a wide variety of restaurants, from casual to upscale, around the nearby shopping mall. The bed was extremely soft, which may not be good for back problems. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We were out of the room most of Saturday and they did not clean the room. Young girl at the desk couldn't do anything.

Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Clean accommodations, convenient location, affordable price. The hotel was just fine. The staff was friendly (even made change for me to use at a meter). Once they saw my confirmation page, they were totally fine with it and apologized. I am not sure why their system doesn't highlight reservations made through third-party sites. I guess they don't get too many like this. In any case, it was worked out. The room was fine, clean, and did the job for a night's stay.

I put out the Privacy sign so that no one would enter my room while I was away during the day. When I was returtned the privacy sign was gone and I found it on the inside of my door. I asked the manager of the Hotel why someone entered the room and she said "Oh the room cleaners need to do that becasue customers will complain if there room isn't cleaned - customers always say that they forgot to take in the privacy sign. I then asked her waht the poin tof the sign is and she said - it just means they knock before entering your room" UNACCEPTABLE PRIVACY - the manager just doesn't get it !

Our Stay way great. The staff was friendly and informative. Everything is near by; the mall, so many restaurants. The rooms are small and you are next to the highway but you really don't hear cars at all. We had the petite queen and our room was great. For the price you can't beat the room and location. We would stay again and our little Yorkie seemed to like it too!

There were so many things wrong with this establishment it is difficult to begin critiqueing it. First, the rooms were tiny. Second, they were dirty and run down. The closet area was miniscule and completely lacking in hangers. The bathroom was tiny; when taking a shower the shower curtain kept attaching itself to me. The first room we were given had not even been cleaned or the sheets changed. There were scalding temperature surges during the shower. The mattress was mediocre. There were two floors to the establishment but no elevator. The heaters were not on in the rooms when we arrived, resulting in the rooms being chilly. The rooms were noisy. The soap was cheap, the shampoo was almost nonexistent. There were a number of people simply hanging around which did not lend an air of security to the stay. The staff was downright right rude when my 86 year old mother called the desk for a new pillow. There are two sections to the motel; if you stayed in the newer one some of the problems would be lessened. Overall, I would not stay here again if it was only $20.00 per night.

It was a nice stay, a little smokey when we first walked in but it was fine after a while. The only bad thing was my key not working and having to go to the front desk about it several times. Other than that everything was good.

At least one day, our bed did not get made up. We did get clean towels, but did not know if anything else was done. We told the hotel desk clerk, the first night, that the strike plate for the room door was loose. It was not until the third (and last day) that someone fixed it.

The first thing I noticed was that the floor hadn't been vacuumed in a LONG time. Rather dingy all over. Although a non-smoking room, an unpleasant odor. Price was low, so my expectations weren't high, but would have minimally expected a floor that I might walk barefoot on. Access from Wolf road northbound is very difficult.

We were on our way to MA and needed to stop for the night....I wish we could have moved this hotel to Gloucester! There was internet access, it was located right off I-90/I-87...an easy on easy off for us. The rate was very reasonable and there was a nice little breakfast in the morning. Also, the Thai restaurant next door served good food and we didn't need to use our car.

Room was surpirsingly quiet although very close to major, heavily traveled highway. It was a good value for the price, but very small, expecially the bathroom (4' tub). Staff were freindly and helpful. Major problem is getting back onto Wolf Road....must take a mile detour.

This was a quick stop on our way to New England. It is right off the freeway. The room was very nice, clean and smelled good. On the same street as a mall and lots of restaurants.

This hotel is located on the corner of a major intersection. When we booked our room we didn't realize that it was on the lower level and asked to be on the upper level for saftey. We were offered 2 different rooms however, they were both smoking rooms. We did get to check out the rooms before picking one. After checking in we noticed a crunching sound every time we took a step on the carpet which was quite unsettling. It made you wonder what might be under the carpet causing it to crunch. Yuck! Now on to the bathroom. The bathroom itself was tiny, I have never seen a four foot tub before. But the most interesting thing about the tub was the floor, it was like standing on a waterbed. We are not sure if the bottom of the tub just didn't quite reach the floor or if the floor under the tub was just rotted away. Scary! Next morning we started looking for the hair dryer only to discover that you had to call to the front desk to get one. When I went down to get it, I was handed a wall mounted hairdryer unit bracket and all. We should have gotten our first clue when we first arrived and noticed a chunk of the wall next to the ice machine was missing and all you could see was hanging insulation. The staff was friendly and did get us extra pillows and there is an indian restaurant right beside the hotel and there is an IHOP less than half a block away. However, I don't think we will be back.

This is a very nice place in which to pass a few nights while in the Albany-Troy area. It's centrally located, lots of eateries & stores in walking distance, easy access to I 87. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. If you need to do laundry, there is a laundromat on Central, just a few blocks away. If you are on business, the room we had had a great desk, nicely finished. Some might dislike the fact that the motel is sandwiched between I 87 on-ramps, but we found traffic noise to be negligible.

Your advertisement for this hotel did not state that the shuttle to the airport did not start until 7:00 am, so we had to pay extra to get out own transportation to the airport and again when returning.

I tried to find an inexpensive hotel and I got what I paid for. The room was very small. It smelled. I did find gnats in the bedding and had to shake everything out. If you get a room on the exterior, be prepared to wake up around 6am from the traffic noise outside. The wireless internet connection was spotty, if at all. The continental breakfast is nothing to speak of. The bagels were not fresh and there was only margerine and cream cheese, no butter. Hot cups were small and there were no lids to take it with you. Also, getting off the exit from I87, I was forced to make a U-Turn to get to the hotel (getting back on was easy though). I will be going to Albany in the near future and will be looking for another place to stay. It will be worth the extra cost.

This is now the place we stay when we need to go to UAlbany. I don't even look anywhere else. It is handy, reasonable, the service is great and it is clean and updated. We have stayed at several other hotels in the area with awful results.
