The 18-room Cobalt Coast Resort & Suites is located on the northwestern shore of Boatswains Bay on the windward side of Grand Cayman, a few miles north of Seven Mile Beach. Though the property is waterside and has a 120-foot dock, it does not have a beach.Cobalt Coast Resort is a charming, tranquil, and secluded oceanfront resort built in the style of a Caribbean Great House. Guests can enjoy beautiful ocean views from their rooms, an onsite restaurant and pool deck, and a freshwater pool and Jacuzzi. Duppies Restaurant & Bar serves full, made-to-order American breakfast and lunch. The Dutch chef offers Caribbean/European cuisine for dinner.An onsite dive operator, Divetech, offers daily two-tank boat dives (North Wall as well as Stingray City dive/snorkel). Shore diving at Cobalt Coast Resort is available 24 hours every day. Divetech also offers scuba lessons, water toys, and other water sports activities for all ages. Unlimited shore diving at two locations is available.Room amenities include air-conditioning, cable TV, mini-refrigerators, coffeemakers, safes, direct-dial telephones with dataports (for Internet access), dining tables and chairs, dressers, full baths with tubs/showers, irons and ironing boards, and hairdryers.Guests of the hotel may want to rent a car as the property is within easy driving distance from other restaurants, bars, and hotels on the island's strip.The price includes the property's resort fee.

Awesome snorkel and dive resort for the whole family. Off the beaten path but only 10 minutes to Georgetown shopping. The sunset are truly grand from your Ocean front room. The owners of both the hotel and dive shop live on property to take care of all your needs.

This was our first visit to Grand Cayman and found everyone to be very friendly. The owner of the resort greeted us upon arrival and even took our bags himself. Dive shop was excellent and everyone there went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Stingray city is a must dive: very enjoyable. Hurricane Leon prevented us from shore diving the North Wall but the other side of the Island gave us plenty of options and the dive crew asked us where we preferred to dive. To see the island either rent a car from Marshall's (they will pick you up when you call) or take a bus for about $2.50/person. Cabs are very expensive. Eating, you have many options to choose from: either the hotel restaurant, local, fine dining, and fast food are all available. Read your menu when ordering to see if gratuities are included in your bill. Overall, had a great time at Cobalt Coast Resort and highly recommend it to people who want a place quiet and out of the way or for divers who want shore diving right out their hotel door. I do not recommend this for families with children.

"We truly enjoyed our stay. A beautiful view from the pool area. Warm hospitality, attention to details and wonderful service. The owner is a lovely man who greeted us as if we were family and met us every morning at breakfast to say good morning and to make sure we were having a great stay. We will make plans to visit again soon. Quiet, peaceful, and VERY relaxing."
