This family-run hotel is within easy reach of DW Stadium (formerly JJB), Robin Park Sports complex, Three Sisters race track, Haydock Racecourse and the Reebok Stadium. Situated on the A573 main road into Wigan, the Coaching Inn Hotel has a convenient location, whatever your reason for visiting the region. Just a mile (1.6 km) from the town centre, the hotel's offers easy access to the region's major road network. There is a good, regular bus service to and from the town centre. Free, secure, private parking is available for guests' use. Built in 1895, this Victorian hotel is rich in individual character, with 18 clean and comfortable en suite rooms (no clean-cut lines like modern hotels). Each room provides an office desk and teacoffee making facilities. Family owned and run for over 30 years, the hotel takes great pride in the relaxed, friendly atmosphere, informal surroundings and warm welcome it offers. The hotel has a small restaurantbar area, offering home-cooked food in the evenings. A strict no-smoking policy operates throughout the hotel. To ensure a peaceful nights rest for guests, closed-circuit TV cameras operate both inside and outside the property.
