Clubhouse Inn and Suites was easy to get to - accessible - from a major highway. It's location also provided an easy access to downtown on a residential/business street, especially if a stranger to Topeka did not want to venture out on the interstate. Clubhouse room was clean, of course, and the manager's get-together at night (a surprise bonus) and the hot, full breakfast in the morning were definite pluses. Overall, however, it was a pleasant stay.

We did get an upgrade because the room was not what we wanted, at no additional price. The room was not what we wanted, the room we got was not clean, the air mattress had a hole in it.

This hotel is very nice. The rooms are very large and very clean. Was not very expensive and there is nice restaurants down the street, and also a really cute mall. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only complaint's I had is you can hear everything in the hallways, and the bed was not very comfortable. All in all it is nice.

"On a recent business trip, I stayed at Clubhouse 2 nights but then was stranded in Topeka another night due to a winter ice storm. There was another hotel 1/2 mile from my conference location and I checked in there instead of driving the 6 miles back to Clubhouse. Mistake! Higher priced, charged for every convenience and wasn't any more comfortable than Clubhouse. Clubhouse was a great value. Free internet, a good hot breakfast, clean rooms and even a free cocktail each night."

Had a great stay. Rooms are clean and large. Breakfast was awesome. Close to restaurants and shopping. Free internet connection--so rare these days. Will definitely stay here again.
