Local tips: The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, but travel around the resort of Marmaris is easy with the local dolmus (minibus) which runs close to the hotel and will take you into the centre of town. Local attractions include Marmaris Castle Museum, the colourful covered Bazaar for shopping, and the Marmaris Marina with its many bars, nightclubs and restaurants. Further afield, the most popular daytrip is Dalyan, the home of the loggerhead turtles, mudbaths and Lycian Rock Tombs, just over an hour away.
