Date of Stay:

Myself and two co-workers stayed here on a business trip. Very convenient in that there is a Metro station under the hotel. The hotel was built in 1928 and it shows. The rooms are quite small, the closet in my room was almost non-existent(my 21" carry-on would not fit in the closet). The shower was quite small, but the shower head was fantastic. Beware, there is construction on-going beside this hotel as well as demolition across the street which sometimes goes on all night long. Very convenient is the chilled water available on each floor. Okay for a single traveler for a night or two, but would not recommend this for families.

FreeWIFI internet, free water bottles, free printer. The rooms are small. The hotel was great, near the subway and within walking distance of all the sites. This room met my expectations and then some.

Upon arrival, I had to park my car 2 blocks away and make several trips to unload my things as there is no legal parking in front of hotel. The suggested parking garage is several blocks away. The staff was friendly & helpful. I had a mini-fridge in my room which in general was small but adequate. On Saturday, March 14th @ 4:15 AM(yes, 4:15 AM!), I was awakened by cement trucks pouring concrete at a project across the street which will likely be under construction for months to come. The Convention center is a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel.

We loved this hotel because it fit our needs perfectly. It is just next to a Metro stop, near the White House and great restaurants located nearby. The room is small and I wouldn't choose the smaller bed unless you are staying alone. The staff was very friendly and they kept our bags after we checked out and toured the city. Good Deal! I would definitely stay again and they gave us a coupon for another night's stay at any of their locations.

Located in the heart of Washington, D.C., close to all the amenities, the hotel has everything the traveler needs and the price is right. It is Washington's best kept secret

Great location, close to the subway, many sights and needed stores. Very clean rooms. Front desk was helpful though sometimes very busy. Slightly challenging to check in with a car due to location. Parking is remote from the hotel and the parking lot did not give the best service.

Convenient, People conscious. Overall the Hotel served our purpose with alot of benefits like the Museums and food places were very close. Taxis were fast to serve and nearby. Comfortable and soothing.. except the homeless guy who camped out at the bus stop .......

The hotel chain's concept seems like a winner. It caters to the moderately up-scale business traveler and does a very good job at that. Great, extremenly convenient location in DC. Rooms are modern, clean, well-appointed and small (which fine OK for solo/business travel). WiFi seemed a slow, though that could have been issues with my computer. They should add a couple more workstations in the business lounge as there was a bit of a wait. Safe, ultra-fast ingress/egress, staff was helpful, cafe was fully-stocked w/excellent free breakfast.

Stayed in kitchenette room. Corner room with three windows. Queen bed and hide a bed sofa. Veiw of park across street. Very nice, clean. The bed, linens and pillows were very comfortable. Shower had hot water. Right above the metro station- very convienent. One block from another Metro station on the red line. Front desk was helpful. McDonalds and drug store one block away. White House 2 blocks away. Used the internet in the business center. Free bottled water. I stayed with two children and would definately stay here on our next trip.

The hotel features relatively small rooms. Also, my window overlooked a rather busy bus stop that ran at least until midnight. It made the room rather noisy. That being said, the hotel is fairly cheap for the location (five minute walk to the white house.) The room was adequate for sleeping, but I would not want to spend much time there as the lone chair was rather uncomfortable and the tv was positioned at a bad angle.

Cozy and comfortable. Most suitable for solo travelers.

Pro: Well-appointed rooms, reminded us of Paris. Slept 4 with no problem. Attached restaurant Cafe de Soleil *excellent* Location cannot be beat. Easy walk to National Mall, Metro stop literally underneath the building. Con: If you're driving to the hotel, it's easy to miss. Mapping software doesn't quite locate it accurately. It's on the SE corner of Eye and 17th St NW. It's easier to spot the canopy for Cafe de Soleil than the hotel logo. No parking at the hotel. Street parking (which is highly challenging), and garages nearby. Hotel has "arrangement" with a garage 2 blocks away, but there is a garage on the north side of Eye St just west of 17th St that is actually less expensive. Overall: RECOMMEND (4/5, parking is the knock)

I stayed in 2 shoebox sized rooms in my 2 day stay. Room widths are about 2 feet longer than the queen bed. There are only 2 bathtubs in the whole hotel. I didn't get one. First room was a smoking handicapped room. The shower floor was same as bathroom floor. No rim. Water was cold .. no more than 90 degrees. even after running it for 10 minutes. Second non-smoking room had a shower rim but the shower was still cold.

Unfortunately, Club Quarters was unable to accommodate us in a difficult situation. The manager, [...], was pleasant. [...], the reservations supervisor (212-515-3064), was polite and thorough, but lacked the ability to make anything happen. Unfortunately, their near-sightedness saved their revenues for one night, but lost my business, and the business of all my contacts, forever.

The staff was very helpful and courteous, the hotel right at the Metro stop that was very convenient. Small rooms, not family friendly, andgood for a business traveler. Great staff, very convenient to the Metro. Small rooms, okay for business, not necessarily for a family vacation.

Great location. There was a constant droning sound that I think came from outside but couldn't locate the source of it. The room was on the small side but still had room for a desk and an arm chair. Clean rooms and very comfortable bed. There was a filtered, cold water dispenser on each floor with empty plastic bottles. Also on each floor was a closet that held extra coffee and creamers, iron and board and extra blankets. The ice maker is in the basement with the exercise equipment. The restaurant next door had an entrance from the hotel or the street. They provided room service but I didn't get an answer when I called (although I did eat lunch there once and the food was very good). The hotel also provided menus from several restaurants that delivered. The staff is friendly and helpful.
