I was surprised to have a free upgrade to beach view. The room was like a small apartment with refrigerator, stove, microwave and kitchen sink. It even included dishes and pots and pans. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I had covered parking, an elevator, and a beautiful view of the ocean from my balcony. It couldn't have been nicer.

our third trip to anna maria island but first at this hotel. room was very comfortable, quiet and roomy for just the two of us. wall unit a.c. can be loud but functioned well. everything was clean and upgraded in the king villa with a kitchenette with large fridge but bring your own corkscrew. although we were across the main road from the beach, it was less than a 3 minute walk to get on the beach. beach chairs/loungers are provided. didn't use the pool at all. hotel location is right in the middle of the island so close to everything. a short drive to long boat key too. only downside was the amount of seaweed washed on shore which made the beach more narrow. this is very typical during the florida summers with the amount of storms. beach is cleaned off weekly front desk staff said but we must have been there before the clean up. with our AAA discount, it was a good price for a near ocean front room. rented a scooter to see the island which a two hour rental is plenty of time to see it all unless you stop somewhere for lunch. lots to do on a small quaint island.

My only complaint is that upon check-in, the room they gave me was not the room on my confirmation paperwork from Orbitz. It was a smaller room yet they were charging me the same price as the room I expected from the confirmation. Club Bamboo Resort was quick to blame Orbitz and, since it was a weekend and they were booked, I had to take what they offered. They claim dissatisfaction with Orbitz and I would have to say that I would never go through Orbitz again to book a reservation of any type. You need to know that you are getting what you pay for before you get to your location!

I went to the Club Bamboo Resort with my children. I loved the location, the balcony overlooking the beach was awesome. I was dissapointed that there was no coffee maker in the room, nor was there an ironing board with iron, no blow dryer, and the shampoo they provided made my hair feel like straw! We needed to use the sleeper sofa, and when we took out the sheets to use them...they smelled dirty, like fish! That was disscusting! For the cost of the room, I was hoping for a little more. I wont return to this hotel, but I will return to Bradenton Beach.

The room was nicely decorated and clean. The king size bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. Full size refrigerator, microwave and full size coffee machine. Nice sofa that pulled out into a bed. Large walk in shower in the bathroom. The only thing we did not like was the lack of bathroom counter space. This was not a "female friendly" bathroom.
