It was just what we were looking for! We were on our honeymoon and enjoyed the no kids, very friendly and open atmosphere! The staff was amazing and the food was great! The days were very relaxing and the nights were filled with live music and entertainmnet. The bar was very accessible and the buffet lines were always short! We would recommend it to any couple who is looking for a very comfortable and affordable way to enjoy eachother!

I had a wonderful time at Club Ambiance. Hotel was very clean. Room was neat and clean. Room was modern and met my expectation. Staff members were very friendly. Hotel was very clean. I can't wait to go back there next year for another vacation. I was a bit disappointed because there was not too much Jamaican food on a daily basis. Overall the food served was very good.

this was one of the worst experiences i have ever had. i guess our expectations were too high. my wife cried the first 2 days because of this hotel. i spent the first day trying to find another hotel to stay at, that's how bad it was. ann at the front desk was friendly, but that was about it. luckly we had some activities planned for "off resort" fun. we spent extra money to leave early so we didn't have to suffer any more. i really do not understand how this was 3.5 star resort. no beach,no service,no fun. i am pretty mellow, but this was not fun. i came to relax on the beach and enjoy swimming in the sea, none of which happened, until i went to negril for a day. i was wondering about getting a refund for my 2 days i left early. if not, it was worth the loosing money just to leave. rest assured, if we go back, it will be to the negril area. i am very, very disappointed in the entire trip.

I have been to Jamaica 8 times and the last trip we stayed at the Club Ambiance. I have stayed at fancier resorts but this resort was awesome in several ways. Most resorts have very friendly staff but Club Ambiance staff was superior. It was almost as though they knew what I wanted and before I even asked, it was brought to me. I especially loved their hammocks area.

My wife and I chose Club Ambiance for our honeymoon resort in Jamaica. We were very impressed with the size of the rooms. This was partly because they had actual "Honeymoon Suites" available. These suites consisted of a living area, canopy bed, and an oversized balcony. The view from every room faced the ocean. We were also impressed with the friendly staff that served us during the week. Room service was very good and made sure the room was spotless everyday. Bartenders and servers were friendly and would make custom drinks. Some of the pool staff would play volleyball with us and take time out of their schedule to socialize with the guests.

Been there twice and have stayed for over 3 weeks each time. It looks strange at first but it is so laid back. People are amazingly accomidating and funny! Great prices, helpful staff, and food and drinks are amazing!

CA is inexpensive for good reason. Based on the price, the hotel is appropriate. However, if you are expecting a deal (a nice resort for the price of a not so nice resort) then be prepared for a dose of reality. The food and drinks are fine and the staff was also fine. The facility is rundown and in need of refurbishment. Things like the doors and tiles falling off, not just a spray of Windex needed here and there. If you are on a very limited budget and just want to get away from it all of awhile then this is an option.

There is an old section and a new section in this resort, you want the new section. the older section is in need of some TLC. plenty of places to enjoy the sun and views. If you are looking for gourmet dining keep looking, if you are happy with average buffet this is your place. Staff are very friendly. A good value for the price.

This was my fourth trip to Jamaica and by far one of the greatest vacations I have taken in a long while. The staff at club ambience was great and made you feel so welcomed. They were eager to assist us with all of our vacation needs. When we decided to venture outside of the resort they made sure we had safe, reliable and affordable transportation. At night the resort had GREAT entertainment for adults. The best part of the resort from other resorts was DEFINITELY the FOOD because we were not afraid to eat! On Sunday we had oxtails and they were delicious. We have visited other resorts and were not happy with the service, food and other issues. We are already planning our next trip back to Jamaica and CLUB AMBIANCE!

The staff were friendly and generally helpful. The facility was marginal. My TV didn't work well, my phone didn't work at all, and the hot water was a dribble. I think they would be better to charge $3 a day more and provide the safe key rather than charge $3 for the key. All inclusive should mean all inclusive. Housekeeping should put clean glasses in the rooms, not simply wipe off the glass used by the prior residents. I would not use the glasses.

It's a great value, we paid for a week what it costs for a day or two at some of the other all-inclusives. In some ways, you get what you pay for. There's not 10 different pools, and the beach is man-made. If you're looking for a great place to relax, however, it's great.

My boyfriend and I stayed at club ambiance for spring break. We were probly the youngest people there but everyone is sooo super nice, we made friends with another couple and had a great time. The rooms and the hotel are superb! We were upgraded to an oceanview room and it was just insanely gorgeous. This place is super romantic and perfect if you're going on a budget and don't want to feel like you "settled". From the first class customer service to the entertainment to the amazing food its probly one of the best in Jamaica. I would definitly go back. [...] was our travel consultant and she arranged for us to go to Dunns river falls, which if you have a chance definitly check it out its too beautiful to pass up. [...] was the entertainment director and he was soo soo much fun. There's always something to do and something to eat. Candle lit dinners and delicous breakfast and lunch. The location is awesome. Although outside the resort seemed a bit iffy and we didnt venture out the hour ride there is just gorgeous and a good opportunity to do some sight seeing. It's only a short ride to Dunns river falls but very beautiful scenic drive. Drinks are free and delicious. Plenty to choose from. If you do go to Dunns river falls bring money to buy the video!! Definitly try jerk chicken and definitly stay at Club Ambiance. Especially being adults only makes it incredibly relaxing and romantic. Very friendly fun care free atmosphere. You can swim in the sea, go on a paddle boat ride, ride bikes, pretty much anything that you want to do on vacation, you can do at club ambiance, or they will make all the arrangements for you!!! WONDERFULL place. If your looking to take a trip to Jamaica, club ambiance is the place to stay for sure!!

We enjoyed the activities provided by the CA. We participated in the games and had a great time, even if we didn't win. The food was very good, never once did we get an upset stomache. The staff were all pleasant and informative. The cleaning service was real nice, we put a do not disturb on the door in the morning. They came and cleaned our room while we were out in the afternoon instead. There were times in the day though, that they were not serving any food. I ask for some bread to hold me over and they did with "no problem". The au natural beach would have been nice but there were very few au natural, this might have just been bad timing though. At the end of our stay there were some guest that seemed to be willing to bare all and show a little something.

Excelent value in a warm, friendly atmosphere, Club Ambiance is an older resort, dwarfed by the newer, nearby mega-resorts. It has an intimacy and comfort level that they can't match. The staff and the guests, many of whom are multiple time visiters, are like old friends right from the first moment you meet them. Guests arrive and depart daily and as the days pass you progress from "newbies", with all the questions to "the old hands" with all the answers. The guests are all ages and types from newlyweds to retired couples to groups of singles of all ages but because of the size of the place there is no segregation and everyone mixes and enjoys the company. The beaches are small, separated from the ocean by a breakwater, but if you want to swim, the pool is never crowded. You never have to be in a rush in the morning to claim a lounge or hammock. People come and go without leaving their stuff to stake a claim. There are daily activities which are as active as you want them to be. The staff is flexible and can adapt to any group. If everyone just wants to veg, they'll put on a volleyball demonstration by themselves or provide personal snorkeling or kayaking excursions. The food is a great mix of western and Caribbean and is always tasty. There are two dining rooms but one is ony used if it rains and we ate out on the patio every night. The entertainment is great. The house band plays reggae and calypso and other local entertainers are brought in nightly. The same staff that keep you active during the day, keep you entertained and involved in the nightlife. The night ends with dancing in the disco. The property is showing its age a little but is well maintained and spotless. The only complaint, they could use some new towels.

This is what I would have expected from an all-inclusive if my first time, food was reptative and liquor was all rail. Most of bar staff was more interested in having fun rather than serve guest.Have had a good experiance at all other all inclusive, this was not as enjoyable. weather was not conducive to ocean swiming(this was not resort fault) but location is on rocky side of island and protected swimming area is limited.Night club was very poor and in need of updating and a good cleaning as it smelled of old booze.Entertaniment staff was good.Could be a decent trip if price was low enough but i would look for better deal
