The overall experience was good but did not like the fact that both rooms cost the same and only one had a balcony. Other than that the stay was very good from the moment of check-in to check out. the checki n was expecially helpful since we arrived several hours earlier than expected.

The staff were very accommodating ensuring all of our needs were met. The furnishings were very outdated and the blankets were old and stiff. The hotel staff were wonderful ensuring all of our needs were met. The weather didn't allow for much time in the pool but overall our stay was good.when we did have a concern the staff were very quick to resolve the issue.

The high speed internet was not working in our room. The operator changed the room , but still no luck...

staff was very inconsistant. some good, some looked sloppy. no dining facilities except for the free hot breakfast. on the last day many guests failed to get breakfast even though they arrived well before the regular end time. our room was never vaccumed during our entire stay. linens were difficult to obtain, had to request wash cloths and towels nearly every day. maintenance is almost non-existing. first room did not nave a working phone and we had to move because there was no maintenance personnel capable of repair. high point was our being uprgaded to a suite but same inept maid service remained.

My new bride and i were just passing through St Louis and had decided to spend a night in St Louis as we were looking for hotels we found this one. Upon arriving the staff was very helpful with directions and the two complementary drinks were a very nice addition. The bed we had was a King size and the overall size of the room was very comfortable. The bathroom and bedroom was very clean and well kept. I plan on staying at this hotel anytime i am in St Louis.

When we booked this hotel, we thought this would be a pretty decent hotel for the price based on other reviews. We don't get a hotel for much other than a place to sleep. We arrived right in time for check-in but were told our room wasn't ready. There were many other customers waiting around for their rooms, too. The lobby we had to wait in was not air conditioned and was very unpleasant. In fact, the room where the breakfast was served and the bar wasn't air conditioned either. The staff was unfriendly. The people at the front desk didn't seem to be in a customer-first mindset as they continuously had personal converstations with one another while all of us were waiting around to be checked in. The housekeeping staff told us we'd be better off taking the stairs down rather than the elevator because they were blocking the elevator with one of their cleaning carts and said "they'd be a while." The room itself wasn't all that bad. The decor definitely needed updating. I wouldn't say that the room was spotless though. The set up of the facility was pretty nice. It just needed some updating and AIR CONDITIONING in the middle of June! Pretty much the only good thing about it was the two free drinks we could have each evening during the manager's reception. :) But don't be fooled about "hot food" they'd serve during the reception....it's generally nothing more than a bowl of crackers for everyone to share.

The staff was GREAT! The rooms were not clean, we found trash in the corners of the room and French fries under the bed. The hotel has just changed ownership and they are slowly making progress. I believe that the next time that my family stays it will be better, and we will be back!

This hotel was a good place to stay, relative the room rate I paid. While, the room I stayed in was clean, it is an there were some wall, carpet, and furniture scuffs that naturally come with age. The breakfast was rather ordinary: scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, and waffles. Free wifi was available, however, the signal was rather weak in my room, and I had better reception in the lobby area. Overall, it was a nice, quiet place to stay.

This was a great hotel. It was very clean and in a great location. The breakfast was awesome. There was alot to choose from and it was HOT. The staff was all so nice and helpful. We will recommend to all our family and friends. We will be back.

We have stayed at this location several times. It is a little older than some but we enjoy the free drinks, full breakfast and the location. This time the first room they assigned the internet wouldn't work so they cheerfully switched us. In the second room the telephone wouldn't work but we didn't care as we both carry cell phones. At night the hallways reverberate with everyone's voices, so I had to call the desk and ask that the kids be told to tone it down. We were there over July 4th weekend and several ball teams were also there. We will, despite the above, stay there again.

The staff was friendly and the hotel layout was easy to remember. This is not a well maintained or clean hotel. The cost of the room was comparable with the hotel. The hotel was not well maintained and did not seem very clean, even including the public areas. The hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast was very decent to be included in the stay.

The people there were extremely nice and very willing to please. The employees were always there for you if you needed anything. I was taken by their shuttle anywhere I wanted to go. If I go back to St.Louis, I will stay there again.

This is a nice clean, newer motel. Located in the suburbs, centered with all our activites. With indoor fitness center and hot tub, and a nice walk through the gardens to the outdoor pool. Our room had a balcony, and the best suprise was a complimentary buffet breakfast made by the cook, and two complimentary drinks in the evening.

After staying in this hotel for six nights, my impression lowered from the first amazing time. The hot breakfast buffet was nearly perfect despite arriving at the end every day - decent, hot food. The room was well equiped with a lounge chair and desk with free internet service even if the wireless did not work in my room. The linen service was good, but no coffee refills for my room, nor clean glasses - a minor complaint, but it can add up over a week. This is a nice hotel with good amenities. Free drinks each night. Free internet and a nice recliner were a nice touch that you can't expect for a great price. Very friendly staff, if some of the service was missing. The exterior doors were never locked, which is a mild concern since it is in a good part of town. I was never worried, but it was a concern. I will definitely stay there again and bring my family next time.

I would stay there again. The staff was friendly. It was clean, comfortable, great location and price. Free breakfast was good. The only complaint was the bed. It was not as comfortable as other hotel beds I have slept on. Overall we were pleased.

Came with friends to attend a concert.. had a fun time and the stay was nice. The breakfast was really good and we all enjoyed. No complaints, the only weird thing was that the bedspreads didn't match and the dresser was really really old and was missing a handle which was weird why they hadn't replaced it. Otherwise very happy with the stay.

I liked having a suite. Our internet connection was very weak - I was not pleased with that at all. Also the phone in the room didn't work. It was great value for themoney and the amenities.

Motel was very accomodating for my large family over the Thanksgiving break. We were allowed to use the breakfast room to have our Thanksgiving meal. A nice hot meal was available every morning. The complaint that I have is the only service we got for our rooms during the four day stay was clean towels. The beds were not made and the floors were not cleaned, that was disappointing.
