The English RivieraBeeing on our way back from Cornwall to Bath we stopped in Torquay for one night.Although it was raining a little bit, we explored the town in the evening and then gotback to our lovely room at the Clovelly Guest House. The room was very nice and cleanwith toilet and shower in the room. In the morning we had just cold breakfast, becausewe ate a lot the night before. The lady of the house would really have loved to make as a warm breakfast though. We had a pleasant stay at the Clovelly Guest House and its very nice owners for a very good price.

Our Stay at Clovelly Guest HouseVery pleasant stay if only for 1 night. Landlady and husband very pleasant indeed, nothing was too much trouble, Guest House very handy for Sea Front and Torquay town centre. Very nice indeed.

I thought the price/verses value was extremely good. I was warmly welcomed and nothing was too much trouble(at the time I was on crutches).I was impressed by the friendliness. And enjoyed the quality of the breakfast in the morning. My lasting impression is that I know the owner's name (Gill). This would never happen in a hotel.The room was large and clean and was more then what I was expecting for the ammount i paid for my stay. Thanks Gill for a lovely stay.

Gill the owner is really welcoming and for value I thought it was very good. Very good breakfast, everything functional worked fine like shower, tv, bed comfy etc.
