Westport is fabThere didnt seem to be much choice in the town centre of Westport in terms of hotels - we wanted to stay in the centre so we could visit pubs etc and not bother about taxis. Well this was a great little hotel. Very smart modern decor with a tastefull splash of red in the bedroom and even an art display in lobby area. You can use the modern liesure centre at the back which is shared with the local population - good idea and a great facility. We really enjoyed walking around the area and the town has some great shops, pubs and restaurants. There was only one negative for me which is a minor one: the bar had obviously been given a modern makeover and looked great but the lighting was strange. It had the appearance of emergency lighting!

we had a fantastic stay at the clew bay hotel westport the staff were excellent they could not do enough for usthank you for helping to make it a wonderful holiday for us we will definitely again soon once again thank you all.

The Clew Bay is a quality hotel that's really putting in the effort to maintain its high standards. The complimentary tea/coffee on arrival was particularly appreciated. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the food is good and plentiful, with lots of choice. The hotel is situated in the centre of town, so getting to it through the traffic can take a while but there is parking behind the hotel at a discounted rate.
