For a first time visit to Guatemala we were so glad we chose the Clarion Suites to stay at while we were in the city zone. The hotel is in a great location - you can get a taxi or bus easily. We had plenty of resturants to choose from. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the view we had was amazing. We were on the 16th floor and had a nice view of the city and volcanos. The food in the resturant and bar was excellent. We had breakfast there a couple times. The hotel staff were so helpful. Truly made the stay that much more enjoyable. Our one complaint was that we would have to call housekeeping for soap and washclothes as a couple times we didn't have any replaced. And then we had to wait some time before they brought the items. But overall the Clarion Suites is a great hotel and we would stay again.

I felt this hotel was a good value. The food was excellent, most staff spoke good English. The gift shop was very impressive, with a variety of handcrafts. Room service was very prompt.

The Clarion Suites Guatemala City is a wonderful place to stay. As the name states the room we stayed in was a suite. The location is right in Zone 10 otherwise called Viva Zona. It is across the street from some nice restaurants. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant. Too much noise and could be heard in my room. Staff, service, food and cleanliness all exceeded my expectations.

3 adults and 3 children were very comfortable in our suite. Plenty of room for all concerned! Room Service quickly corrected an error in our breakfast order. The concierge was extremely helpful in assisting us with travel arrangements to Antigua and around Guatemala City. We used the travel service they recommended for additional, unplanned trips during our stay! We felt safe and secure during our entire stay in Guatemala."

The Clarion Suites Guatemala City was fantastic. We upgraded to a Junior Executive Suite, which was beautiful with amazing views. The staff was top notch and the overall service was perfect. The hotel restaurant is beautiful with a water fall and fantastic food. We will always return to this hotel when we are in Guatemala City. The surrounding area was very safe and enjoyable as well.

They have a nice little gym with a sauna on the 17th floor. Zone 10 in Guate is not a shoestring budget local. Friendly service, close to lots of resturaunts, malls, clubs, hotels and some casinos. Great place for a short visit, but if your planning a longer stay I recommend the spanish schools in Xela and a fun little getaway in panna or san pedro on lago de attitlan.

I spent 4 days in the GC Clarion in September 06 and was impressed with the level of friendly service and wonderful accesibility to things in the area. The concierge staff is very helpful in planning outings and anything else you might need. Staff is almost fully bilingual. Food in restraunt and surrrounding area is superb!!

The staff had excellent service, kind, attentative. This hotel is clean, had door seperating the bedroom whereI put the children down early the staff was not just friendly but helpfuland kind. They took care of getting me to a pharmacy at an odd hour for needed medicine the hotel itself was clean andI had no maintenance problems!

Friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Maid staff supervisors were too aggressive in the way they approached their job.
