Great staff. Willing to drive to town, but better yet would be to have a car b/c there is no eating (except breakfast) or even a convenience market within walking distance. Bathroom is getting worn. Room has a great layout, but I think there was a smashed bug on the wall of the bathroom. (At least that is what it looked like.)

Free cookies in the afternoon. Lumpy foldout bed. Friendly staff, free chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon, free evening happy hour, good continental breakfast - great value.

I really liked this hotel. The rooms are a lot larger than other places I have stayed. I really liked the free breakfast buffet in the morning. The free beer was also nice in the evening. Also I really liked how easy it was to find. Right off the main highway. The beds were some of the best I have seen in hotels. Easy access to downtown and they run a shuttle if you do not want to find a place to park.

When we checked in, they upgraded our room for no charge. Breakfast was pretty good also. Not located as close to state street as we would have liked. Pool was indoors and seemed dingy.

I've stayed several times at the Madison Clarion Suites while on business. I've been very happy with each stay. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are always clean

This is a great place to stay if you are in town for UW's graduation weekend. Spacious suites with kitchenettes. Free breakfast was lacking, though. Sunday 9:00 a.m. - things not refilled, staff reluctant to refill, many people waiting. It WAS UW graduation weekend and the hotel was FULL. Lobby was terrific. Saturday afternoon no one in large pool. Recommended to families staying for graduation weekend.

It was basically new. Friendly staff. Very nice. Had a bit of trouble figuring out the light switch combo. Very nice place. Close to downtown, Kohl Center, University area. Easy to get to.

Bright, inviting atmosphere in lobby area; full kitchen in suite, friendly staff, great complimentary breakfast, nice pool, exercise room and location. Great suite setup including a full kitchen, nice sized pool, nice exercise room, several conversation/TV areas in lounge, best breakfast my family and I have ever had in a hotel, great value for the price. Will not hesitate to stay at this hotel again when I am in the area.

Spacious room. Fluorescent light buzzing was very annoying, not in walking distance from downtown. Room was spacious and perfectly adequate, but some of the details were not right: Fluorescent light buzzing, old-style AC/heater, broken wheel on a chair.

The drink/snack bar in the afternoon was a great touch! I can't say anything was unlikable. A very clean, quiet hotel with a great breakfast bar and a nice afternoon beverage/snack bar. Sufficient parking on the grounds, even for oversize/over height vehicles.

Very friendly, helpful staff. The pool room was too dark. No natural sunlight and It is next door to a jail. Besides a few random hoots and hollers from the jail next door our stay was pleasant!
