They didn't have my reservation when I arrived on June 5, 2009. Fortunately I had a paper copy of my Orbitz reservation showing I had made it and paid in advance. After much time and fussing around, and copying my paper for their records they gave us our room. However the next morning when I turned in my key they tried to charge me again for the room. I had kept my original from the night before and they accepted that though they said they didn't know I had prepaid. Why not? How many times do they need to be given proof? It was not air conditioned and we could not get the room cool at night.

stayed for two nights for my wifes 30th birthday to visit dublin.great reception staff i was given ground floor room as i emailed them saying my knee was bad after operation.was given till 2 o clock to check out.had a tour bus pick us up from front of hotel and drop us back later the fitness centres facilities were first class and the food at the koudos bar was reasonably priced.excellent shopping mail just across the road from hotel and a shuttle bus which cost 8 euro from airport to hotel.

The staff were friendly and the hotel was very comfortable and had a welcoming atmosphere. Make sure to bring along a copy of your itinerary showing that you paid for the hotel. I had to print an extra copy for them when I checked-in and I still had trouble checking out.

This is the second time we had booked here but there was no record of our booking. The staff member who dealt with us was rude and we were kept waiting for a half hour. Although this hotel is on the main road to the West,which suits us, it is unlikely that we will stay here again.

Although quite away out of the city centre, the hotel was easily accessible from the airport with the added bonus of free parking which is incredibly secure. There is some great food available in the hotel but you must try the Arc which is a 2 minute walk. All in all a fantastic stay.

Stayed 1 night (Sat). We were given a suite because there were no more non-smoking double rooms available so we were very happy with that. I've rated the cleanliness as average because there was trays of used plates on the floor and used towels outside many of the rooms that remained there the next day when we were checking out. The rooms themselves were clean.The bathroom needed airing out as it smelled slightly of damp(fan didn't work properly) but it was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay here again.

We already new this hotel was a 40 minute bus Ride from the city centre. A shuttle bus runs regular from the airport to the hotel and you can buy bus tickets to the city centre from in news agent in liffy valley shopping centre. We never used any facillities in the hotel, although we did arive early and they were more than helpul. Our room was not ready and they looked after our bags while we went touring city.The only complaint about the hotel is we had a room for two adults and a chld but only received two towels, we could have asked for more but were only there two days. We went for breakfast at the ARC near the hotel would not recomend, cold coffee and poor service and still not to cheap. Hotel was great and we were not put off by the location as we were prepared to get on a bus, if ths is not for you and you want to tour city centre this is not the hotel for you. You can also get a city tour bus from the hotel if you want to do a guided tour.

Overall I enjoyed my stay in Clarion Liffey Valley and will be back.
