We stayed here for the GC 09. Mix the price with the location and general upkeep and you have a great place to stay. We were very pleased and plan to stay there again very soon. The staff were always asking if they could help. Close to McDonalds, Red Lobster, Dennys, Convention Center (we walked). Very pleased...as long as they keep the prices reasonable, as they are now.

I was at the SEBC Convention and need a place to stay. It was with in walking distance so I did not have to pay for parking. The hotel was renovated with all new furniture, beds, carpet and granite counters in the bath. It is very close to everything, parks, shopping, food and I4. I would stay again if I need to visit Orlando.

Close to the Convention center and many restaurants. Lobby was under heavy construction. It's small, simple and inexpensive. It met my needs (a place to shower and sleep) exactly.

Hotel is currently undergoing major refurbishment so it is a bit topsy-turvy at the moment. Location is good as there are good restaurants and fast food across the road. Near to bus stops on International drive. Shuttle buses available but timings are limited. Over-all good value for money spent.

Hotel was under construction, loud noise started at 9am, we were already up. First room AC didn't work, so they gave us a new room where the internet didn't work. Looks like they are making major improvements and it should be a nice place when they are done.

This was formerly a HoJo . . . orbitz said it was refurbed in april 2009... well, they aren't quite finished as of may 12th. Still painting and sprucing up here and there. Front desk was friendly. 100% smoke free hotel - previous week had stayed across the street at ESA with the kitchens and my nonsmoking room always smelled like cigarette smoke when entering. I now bring a black light with me and do a scan of the room for cleanliness - phone needed a little cleaning, otherwise room was quite sanitary from blacklight perspective. beds comfy - 4 pillows per queen instead of 2. Only spent time in room early morning and night/sleep. Was quiet (stayed in the G quadrant facing parking lot). Did not use pool or spa, so can't comment. free internet access was nice. However, this hotel charges a $3.50 'amenity fee' per day that orbitz didn't mention... probably to cover the internet access and ???? Asked front desk for late check out (12pm vs 11am) and it apparently wasn't communicated with maids - they were banging on my door at 10:55 and again at 11:15 (apparently english is a foreign language to them). Then the room key stopped working after 11am and had to have it reset 2 times while making trips to the car with my gear. I would consider staying here again.

Location. Free breakfast was awful. Nice location but experience soured by awful free continental breakfast. Never before have I seen a separate charge for cereal, milk or juice. Ice was not available at any price.

They were remodeling the front desk area, so the check-in was a little crazy. But overall, the hotel was nice.

The location of the hotel was convenient. Bad odor in room, poor breakfast, hidden fees (Resort Fee). I would not stay in this hotel again; I think the rooms need remodeling.

Location, price. Dirty, old and rundown. Dirty rundown old style motel feeling needs to be cleaned; ceiling in my room was falling down in multiple places hair in the vanity area that was not mine!

The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was disgusting and outdated. The breakfast was horrible. I honestly have never stayed in a hotel that was quite as disgusting as this one. The room was horrible. There were white questionable stains all over the chair. The bathroom looked like they hadn't cleaned it. The ice makers didn't work in the lobby. The breakfast looked like the owner cooked at home in his kitchen to make an extra buck. Horrible. The only thing that could make this hotel half decent is the service. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Did not like anything about about this hotel. Room was dirty, holes in carpet. Hole in chair, dirty shower, door frame of bathroom all rust out, room smell like it had a flood at one time.

I liked that they had balconies that you could sit out on. There was remodeling going on and it was unattractive also hallways were stuffy. The hotel needs some updating, along with some new mattresses for the beds. Better air flow would be nice in the halls as well. Overall it is not a bad hotel if you can get it for a low amount of money, otherwise, beware don’t spend a lot on this one.

Location, size of room, staff. Beds are a bit tired. This hotel is well located and a good choice for convention goers. The Beds need upgrading but the room was clean and the staff very helpful. Also free Wi-Fi internet.

Convenient location, quiet. Rusty moldy bathroom. We would definitely stay there again. Be aware that the bathroom fixtures are not always as clean as the ones in your home, and the Florida air has a tendency to rust and mildew anything not kept clean and dry. We did not hear any neighbors, the bed was very comfortable, the TV had cable, and there was plenty of hot water. Suited our needs perfectly!
