Great water park, the water is freezing though. The rooms are not the cleanest but worth it for the fun for the kids.

had a great time with the family. waterpark and large seating area worked out great for our mini reunion. friendly staff and clean rooms
Date of Stay:

The waterpark was great for kids, the restaurant was passible and the room was clean and spacious....if only there was a door! We have three young kids so we always stay at hotels with suites for privacy and comfort...this would have been an excellent hotel IF the bedroom had a door.

The room was spacious, nice furniture, friendly staff, room had great location for parking convenience. The pool was so cold you couldn't swim in it, same with the kiddie water park, not good when throw a five year old a birthday party there!

made reservations one month in advance, hotel double booked the room. 5 year old was not allowed to use the water slide. Even after signing a waiver at the desk during check in. Will not be staying here again. Hotel needs upgrade, duct tape on carpets, wallpaper missing. Handrails loose, not impressed. food was cold at buffet for breakfast, staff was professional.

The water park was the best thing about this hotel. It was great for my little kids. The hotel room was not very clean and needs much repair. The ceiling had water stains and was leaking a bit. Thick dust on vents and floors were dirty. I don't think I would stay at this hotel again. I was not impressed by the room.I would expect a much nicer and cleaner room. There was a lot of built up dust, the ceiling has water stains in the bathroom and the floors were dirty. There was a door to the outside and it was frozen and condensation was built up on it so the carpet was soaking wet by the door. Two things I liked were the water park, and the very friendly staff.

We stayed here on a visit to UND for our daughter. The room was ok. The bathtub/shower was awful! The tub did not drain and we had to wait 1/2 before the next person could shower so we wouldn't be ankle deep in water. The 2nd day there was NO hot water! I did complain and got a few bucks off but I find this totally unaceptable!(spelling?)

The service, they accommodated all of our request. Our first room, the ACdidn't work but they gave us a new room.

rooms were very dirty and need complete remodel, signs all over apologize for the construction, all we saw was wallpaper removed , bathrooms are too small for a family ,you can barely close the door when you and your child are in there , no fridges or micro.s in rooms ,a strange white furry substance was growing from the circa 1970 a/c vents also very loud ,knobs were broken etc. pool areas is great for small kids , 5 year was bored after 1 day . can't wait for the canadinn to open and blow this out of the water . us per night pool side too much for brutal room

Had a breakfast, pool and clean. Nothing too fancy, but met our needs for a good price.

The staff were professional, very helpful. Most important, the pool & room were very clean! The food was great too!

The hotel was clean, the people were friendly and it was in a good location. The mattress was hard and the room was humid the pool area smelt so much like chlorine that it made my eyes burn. The hotel was in a good location, nearby shopping centers and restaurants. When walking into the hotel I was pleasantly surprised with the homey atmosphere and good decor. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean but the mattress was hard. If we didn't have the air conditioning on the room, got quite humid. The pool area was nice if people had children but what I liked about it was that there was a separate swim time for adults only.

Very clean and the water feature for children. Near railroad tracks. Heard the train. Perfect for families with little ones. The hotels feature two children's water slides plus a splash island. It was wonderful. The pool itself is 6 inches deep and has many activities for little people. For adults it has a huge double hot tub. The adult and teen water slide and pool was a little small but enjoyable. For parents of little ones this is the place to go! We had a room with a king bed which was extremely comfortable and had a pull out couch. The room was very clean although bathrooms are very tight and small, which as little hard with a little person. In the morning as we got our breakfast and hung around the pool you could not help but notice all the people cleaning. They where actually shampooing the carpets. The hotel even smelled fresh, important to me because I suffer from allergies!

Hotel needs upgrading. Only avail hotel for college move-in weekend. Advertised waterpark is oriented toward young children. not adults and teens. Rooms could use microwaves and refrig. There are better choices in Grand Forks. Book early.

Nice lobby. High speed internet isn't high speed and is very unreliable. This hotel doesn't really compare to other hotels in the 2-star class in Grand Forks. I have stayed at another 2-star that is superior in every imaginable way.

"Arrived at 1:00 pm,room was not ready until 5:00pm,unacceptable 4hr. wait after a full day of planes and airports."

It was easily accessible from the highway. The breakfast was nice. There wasn't very much parking. This was a nice hotel for an overnight stay with young kids. The staff was very friendly and even changed our room from 1 king bed non-smoking to 2 queen bed non-smoking when I called ahead since we were traveling with two young kids.

"The waterpark here is wonderful. The staff is fine. The building is TIRED-it feels like an anachronism. Needs a multi-million $ tune-up to free it from the '70s. Food is mediocre at best. Our grandchildren are 10, 9 and 5 and LOVED it--but we wouldn't get by with bringing them back here in 5 years. Teenagers would go crazy here. I say, Keep looking."
Date of Stay:

The room was attractive and clean. We did not get our room cleaned. The hotel met our expectations and we would stay again.
Date of Stay:

The staff, especially the cleaning staff were all very friendly. The restaurant menu was limited, especially for healthy and vegetarian choices. Great family hotel, clean, friendly staff and clientèle.
