Great swim area for young children.

Location. Was no longer a Holiday Inn. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. The hotel is now a Clarion inn. This changeover happened between when I made reservations and when I checked in. The rooms are okay, but badly need upgrading. The ceiling in my room had several places where the walls were separating from the ceiling, and the bathroom had a warped door from being unsealed and having wet towels hung on it (my guess).

Everything I needed was under one roof. Ice machine was always empty. The hotel actually exceeding my expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful, which sets the tone for the entire stay. I really have no complaints.

Great breakfast. Wonderful indoor pool. Ideal for Amana travel. Met my expectations, no complaints. The hotel has everything you need for a good travel experience. Pool, dining and lounge are above average. Short drive to Amana Colonies.

Great locationandrooms were well furnished. Noisy, bad sound proofing, insulating doors/walls. Overall satisfactory stay. Easily awoken early in morning from people in the halls. Small to average rooms if you were traveling as a family, but did accommodate family needs with waterpark, mini golf and some other amenities were available.

The water park was great fun for the kids. Carpet, curtains, and bedspread were old. Out-dated and a little musty.

The room was clean and quiet. It was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The water park was expensive.

The waterpark was great for my son. It feels a little bit too outdated. Our stay was quite pleasant. The waterpark was really cute and our infant son had a lot of fun! The restaurant provided a good hearty meal that was very filling. The decor and furnishings are a little bit outdated, but I guess it lends a hand to the Amana feel.

They have a great indoor waterpark. Restaurant staff did not keep glasses filled, had to ask for refills too many times from other servers than my own.

The Water Park The lack of security. The outside doors did not lock. The trip was great. The hotel needed to clean the grounds better, there were beer cans on the putt-putt course. The outside security doors did not lock and you could get in any door without a room key. To me this was ahuge problem.

I loved the fact that meals, mini golf, and passes to the water park were included in the price!With three kids, every dime counts and this was great! The only complaint I have is that the rooms are dark, and dated but worth it for the price.
