Watch out if you go to the lounge. There is a waitress Lea who triple charged myself and three other friends. She's quite shady. Beware of that one!

Stayed one night in town for business... at first looked a little sketchy as is not the best area of town, but we were nicely surprised.. room clean bed really comfortable. Would definatly stay there again, looks like they are in the process of upgrading accomidations.

Staff was great and quick to accommodate us with handicap accessible room. 24 hour complimentary wireless internet. Most others have wireless internet free of charge. I did like room, but the toilet had to be flushed approximately 3 times to completely flush.

the first room that i reserved i opened the door, and walk in to find a complete mess. towels on the floor, bed unmade, and garbage scattered across the room. so i calmly walk back to the clerk and expressed my concern to her, she apologized and told me that they would give me a different room. a satisfactory and expected rebuttal. upon entering my second room i walk in and i feel a certain satisfaction that this room is clean and made up well. after unpacking a little i go to put my bottles of water in the mini fridge, and discover empty beer bottles and half drank soda cans, not wanting to make another scene i simple transfer them to the garbage. at 11:25 pm after putting up with loud boisterous conversation in the hall i decide to give the front desk a call, the lady apologizes for the noise and says she will send someone out, meaning security. the guard knocks on my door. its now 11:35 and i have to be up at 7 am he asks me who it was that was making the noise i pointed to the two rooms where i believe they were having their conversations in the hallway and left him to his merry way. 3 minutes later another knock... i open my door and see the guard and 2 other guests. (the ones making the noise) at my door. drunk and loud they want to start a confrontation. RELAXING, SERVICE, DISTINCTIVE, I THINK NOT. do not waste your time or your money with this hotel.

This hotel has a very nice coffee shop with good food. That is about the best thing you can say about it. The room was clean and fairly comfortable, but it was definitely in need of some rejuvenation. The carpet was old and stained, there was torn wall paper in the bathroom, etc. Even though the hotel advertises free WiFi, I was at first only able to connect to it but not the internet which made it useless. I was able to connect briefly to another network provided by another hotel in the area, but lost that connection too because of the poor quality of the signal. When I mentioned this at the front desk, the response I received was a short and crisp, "I know." I found the attitude of this employee actually quite rude. There are many other options in Yakima even if I have to attend a meeting at this hotel, and I will be making use of them.

We had the unfortuante opportunity to stay at this hotel AGAIN through priceline. They treat you like crap if you are priceline... but I wouldn't pay 20 to stay there. There were 25 teenagers in the hallways outside out door yelling, singing and talking until 10:30pm and nothing was done about it after complaining. They said they couldn't do anything about it.. yah right. The carpets were filthy and not vacuumed well at all. We woke up to a swarm of ants all over the shower, bathroom floor, in our luggage, all over the sink and in my makeup stuff. It was just disgusting. We I complained, they didn't care at all and offered nothing in the way of an apology or refund. My husband know the owner and says he's way cheap to properly run this hotel. What a shame. Don't waste your money. There are plenty of nice new hotels being built.

The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful when asked about good local places to eat etc. The only thing I didn't like was that it was under a remodel so the hotel lounge was closed. The rooms were very clean and the staff was available and helpful when needed. It's perfect for business trips. They havewi-fi seemed to work fine for me. The bed was comfortable and they load on tons of extra pillows. I would definitely stay there again on business related trips to the area.

Rooms need updating! Linen thin; pillows flat; tissue rough; boxsprings soiled. Furniture worn. Heating system poorly functions. Frig tiny. Not pleasant. Small lobby and business center.

Quality of furnishings exceeded my expectations. The chair and foot stool along with the marble topped computer desk was great. Bed was comfortable. They were remodeling the entrance and restaurant area. Highly recommend this motel. Wehad a very nice room! It exceeded all my expectations.

We had the unfortuante opportunity to stay at this hotel AGAIN through travel website. They treat you like crap if you have booked theough travel... but I wouldn't pay $20 to stay there. Everything about this hotel was horrible! There are prstitute's, etc. wandering in the parking lot, the security doors to enter the hotel are broke and hangin in the doorway. The rooms are in disrepair and unclean. We even switched rooms to a different building and the other one was worse. Both pools are filthy, unclean and to cold to swim in and need repair. The hot tub is disgusting. The hallways and entrances are filthy. The bed pillows are about one inch thick with holes in them. We had to request a new shower curtain because our was filled with at least one inch mold spots everywhere. The bed sheets don't fit. There were spider nests in the room. The toilet ran continually, after a technician rinally came to fix it, then it wouldsn't even flush. Every other guest that we talked to had the same comments. The hotel had no clean towels available for in the rooms. The wallpaper was hanging off of the walls. There are water spots all over the ceiling. Do I really need to continue? Worst experience in over 20 years. Like I said, it wasn't just this one room, it was the rooms in both buildings. The entire room, hallway, building, pools, etc. are in very poor condition and need repair.

The room was clean. Kind of a budget hotel for business. The room was adequate and clean. They have free Wi-Fi, but it's a touch glitchy. But the rest of the hotel wasn't worth commenting on. You did get access to two newspapers, the local Yakima paper and a USA Today (while supplies last). But other than that, not a great experience.

Much better than expected. Very nice for a two star hotel, this fit our needs and was a good place for a one night stop over.

The room was clean and comfortable but seemed a bit overpriced compared to other hotels in the vicinity. It is Yakima after all.We used the hotel after seeing a concert at the Gorge. It was more than an hour from the venue but accomodations are slim in this part of Washington. The only complaint was that continental breakfast wasn't included in the price and that we were awoken by the sounds of hallway noise.

past business stay with excellent accommodations. n/a I like the location, close to the freeway and close to dining facilities.
