My wife, 18-year old son and myself traveled to Phoenix to watch my 21-year old son's college baseball team. We stayed at the Clarion on the recommendation of other parents, and were not disappointed. The rooms were typical hotel rooms, but the amenities were excellent. Full breakfast was served each morning, and dinner was served every night from 5:30 - 8:00, and it also included an OPEN BAR. The hotel was located just a short distance from the main Highway, which was convenient for traveling to several baseball fields in the Phoenix area. We were also just a few miles from a few MLB Spring Training sites, including the Angels site, which we visited. We only spent 3 days in Arizona, but we did manage to visit Scottsdale, which was magnificent. The Phoenix area was beautiful and incredibly clean for a major city. The landscaping around the highway was beautiful, including bridges, and embankments along the road. Being from the Boston area, this is what impressed us most as Boston roads and bridges are filthy and in disrepair.

Room 321 was a very comfortable room. The room included everything we needed and then some. The free wifi was great, the frige worked awesome, and the bed and pillows were the best! And to top it off my room had a almost perfect view of the sunrise!!! I would definitely come again!

The room and hotel were clean and comfortable. The bed had a topper on the matress that made the typical hotel bed much more comfortable to sleep in. The location was simple and convenient. I like to run in the morning and the area was great for that. The workout room was, at first glance, not very big nor was I thrilled about the equipment, but once I got used to the gear in there I liked it a lot. I liked the breakfasts. Simple, fresh, and better options than I have most days at home. I was able to check my email in the business center with no problem and the staff was very nice.

First room wasn't ready- next room was filthy. They lost our vouchers, forgot our wake up call . Very UNPLEASANT !

I was put in a room that was supposedly overlooking the pool. You could not see the pool from my room for a HUGE tree that blocked the view. That tree had hundreds of birds that screeched in unison for hours on end each night. There were also drunken partiers hanging out on the balconies and running back and forth yelling in front of my windows until around 2am. The rooms were cramped but were nice enough for the price.

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The outside does need an update, but everything you need is inside your room. The bed was comfortable and the linens clean. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was satisfying. Would recommend to others and will stay again if ever in the area.

Morning breakfast and evening get together with food. Was clean, secure, good parking, nice people. Room had a microwave, TV w cable, refrigerator. Air conditioner worked great. Great deal, may use it on vacation next time. Off route 10, easy to find.
