As noted by everyone, elevators were slow. Big deal, a two to three minute wait. Clean rooms, friendly staff especially Roseanne who should definitely be paid more for her services. I will definitely cum again.

This hotel was very noisy, especially when we were sleeping. We were awoken a number of times during the night by people walking in the halls talking and being disorderly. There was a lot of noise in the streets at late hours as well. The shower dispensed only cold water after I fiddled with it. There was more water spilling into the tub from the faucet than was coming out of the shower head. UPon check in, we were told that we would have to park two blocks away because there was no room in the garage. After some arguement we were given a space in the underground parking garage. Once we parked the car, we didn't move it for fear we would lose the space. The garage was almost too narrow for our car and it wasw difficult to maneuver turns in the garage. This hotel stay was not a great one!

It was a clean room. The neighbors were too loud and disorderly. The elevators in this hotel are too slow; you spend too much time waiting for them. Also on day I was to leave, they made a mistake about my ride to the airport. I called the front desk the night before for a shuttle in the morning and they called for a taxi instead. I will not stay there again!

There are only 2 elevators that are way too slow. The restaurant was a somewhat experience - whatever I asked they didn't have :-( So I had to eat what they had left... But the food was OK.

The room was a great size for the price that we paid. Very spacious with a kitchen small dining area and great balcony.

Location was just what we wanted and needed. Noise level problem was not acted upon in a timely manner. We were very pleased with the location. It was across the street from our son's apartment. He is a student in Montreal and his apartment is too small for 3 people. We were returning him back to school. We did feel a bit short changed in the quality of the room because it was prepaid and they gave us a room that reflected that. It was clean and appropriate for our needs, but we think there were better rooms of the same kind in the hotel.

It was fun, I will be going again soon.

The hotel Clarion was comfortable. We liked the kitchennette option a lot. We were late risers and having our own breakfast options was great and we got to save money on at least 2 of our meals. The room was clean, cleaning staff were very helpful with suggestions about where to dine for less, where the good vlaves were in shopping etc ... I was very disappointed in the front desk staff, they were NOT very helpful at all. We were in MOntreal for the jazz festival and the hotel's location was very far away, and they did not mention we could take subway which was a block away or the bus, they did not offer bus info or a bus schedule & when approaching them on where to eat the same AND 5 blocks away was a street called Crescent which was lined with row after row of restuarants and local watering holes ... if I had not been to Montreal before and knew my way around, the hotel would have been a real inconvenience. I would not reccommend the Clarion for a first timer to Montreal.

Convenient location and amazing rooms, easy & reliable wireless accommodations. The parking garage was too tight to navigate easily. The Clarion hotel at this location was good and the fact that it had a parking garage was a bonus. My traveling companions and I did not need room service during our 2 night stay, but the reception staff was very polite and efficient. I highly recommend.

AC didnt work. was like a sauna in there. AC's that did work were SO noisy. Manager is worst manager EVERRRRR. RUDE. IMPOLITE. They say they have 100% satisfaction guaranteer --- not true!

I only stayed there for one night but the rooms are very spacious with a kitchen, huge closet, and open windows with views of the city. Overall it would be a nice place to stay for an extended visit.

The kitchen was an excellent idea. The shades wouldn't close all the way. The location is great, just one block away from St Catherine Ave, and it's at an affordable rate. They have kitchens equipped with stove, fridge and drink glasses, so if u want to buy and store your own food and liquor it's perfect. There are only two elevators and they run kind of slow, so expect a 2-3 min wait. Other than that, it was an all around decent hotel.

The hotel has a comfortable suite but the building looks shabby.

I liked the price for the location. Staff were friendly. Check in/out took an hour each time in line (short staffed?) Elevator had long wait times. It is definitely not a 4 star. For some reason the ceilings were lower in different areas of the room. In the shower I hit a ceiling tile when lifting my arms. The staff were quite friendly, however I do think they were understaffed for the amount of clients in the hotel on the dates I went. having a balcony was nice. The rooms were clean although there seemed to be water coming up through the floor after anyone took a shower (I checked it out it wasn't a leak from the shower) Seemed to seep up through the ceramic floor tiles even after wiping it up. The speed of the elevators was completely annoying. The hotel was full for the weekend and although there were many groups with numerous rooms booked the noise level in our room from the halls etc. was minimum.

Very satisfied with service!Talk about 5-star service!- The hotel restaurant Le 'Vin Levain' is EXCELLENT! Expect to pay 8 and up for full Breakfast incl coffee, and a full 3-course dinner with coffee/tea will cost around 22.5 minute walk mall & subwayvery clean.Whirlpool + exercise rm- Housekeeping service maintained room very nicely.- Lobby/Front desk Reception staff very pleasant.- We felt very well taken care of on our stay!!-WE'LL Definitely be back!!

Good location - could walk to restaurants, bars, shopping. Very noisy - room was on the street side of the building and lots of partying going on, starting at 3am. Nice, basic hotel. Good size room and basic amenities. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Biggest problem was noise level at night - street noise was terrible and some groups at the hotel started partying after 3a (after the bars closed).

Excellent view from 23rd floor on the city side. Public spaces cramped. Not enough elevator capacity. Junior suite room very well equipped. Nice view. Parking was full but indoor lot two blocks away fairly convenient and safe. Not really convenient to downtown and old city but easy walk to metro. Good value for rate would stay again.

Location. Room smelled like urine and looked worn.

Loved the room layout, outstanding shower. Elevators too few and too slow. Loved the 2-level room layout. Staff friendly. Plan on long waits at the elevators. Great location in downtown Montréal. Overall a great experience at a very reasonable cost.

Excellent room facilities. Elevators were slow and somewhat unreliable. Overall an excellent hotel, in a good location and very good value. The room was great, with great facilities. My only negative comment would be about the elevators that were very slow and unreliable, so that most of the time it was easier to walk up the stairs to my fifth floor room. Otherwise a great place.
