Walking distance to the capitol building. My room was not cleaned properly, nor sheets changed before I entered the room. I would not stay there again.

We stayed here because of the ratings given to this hotel by travel webs and by other visitors. It was the first time travel webs misled us. And, now I notice that the three reviewers who gave it excellent ratings all misspell "recommendation" the same way. The hotel staff was courteous. That's the last good thing I have to say for the place. It was dirty and rundown. When we went out to use the pool, our room key would not unlock the door and we had to walk down a city street in our bathing suits to get back in. The pool was outdoors .On the other hand, the hottub, in the basement was unbearably hot. The fitness room bathroom was smeared with feces. Our room was rundown and worn looking. The whole place just felt grimy and long overdue for a renovation.

Room recently updated. Wake up call didn't come through. The room at this hotel was appointed nicely and clean, however, for a Clarion, the overall appearance of the hotel was dull. Parking was an issue.

Our room wasn't clean when we checked in, and 3 hours later that was still the case. Bathroom shower had used soap and half empty overturned shampoo bottle; the bed had been made, but not changed since previous guest. Also deadbolt didn't work properly. We left without even spending one night, and moved to another hotel.

Near capital, hot tub. Everything else. Hadn't been updated since the 70's. Primary colors were orange and brown. The receptionist had green 3 inches fake nails-god only knows what was under them. Not to mention her numerous visible tattoos. Room was small. Couldnt use internet. Not close to anything else. Did not feel secure. And how about some fresh fruit with the breakfast? It was all breads and starches. Very run down place in general and not at all worth the price.

Very easy parking, centrally located. Very comfortable rooms for business travel. Trips to the ice and vending machines were a long adventure with long hallways and multiple floors. Our initial room was on the 3rd floor. I conceded to my wife's bad habits and asked for a smoking room which relocated us to the first floor. Upon entry a faint smell of smoke could be detected but quickly faded and it turned out to be the best room I think we could have gotten. Very comfortable king size bed with sliding glass door to open and enjoy the fresh Olympia air. Nice sized table to use laptop to connect to Wi-Fi. Room safe to secure valuables when leaving. I was very satisfied and will probably request same room next time I visit.

Hotel staff was great! However, the remodeling staff is doing a less than great job. Wallpaper is crooked, ends are cut uneven, green wallpaper and bright white lights in vanity area make everything look yellow/green, jaundiced. New carpet is already stained.

Distance to the Capitol. A two star for sure! Not a very exciting hotel and nothing to impress. But, it was easy to find and one of the closest hotels to the Capitol.

It was clean, the personal were very nice. There was no hot water. There was no hot water!
