Breakfast closes on timeThe fault I would have with this hotel is at breakfast time, they close at 10am on the button not even a chance of a cup of tea, and everybody disappears. Also literature in the room is a misleading if you don't read the small print, you would think it is open till 10.15am, so dont be looking for a late breakfast here!

Very disappointingThe location of this hotel is very good for Liffey Valley shopping centre but that is about all it has going for it at the moment. It is understaffed - a small order to room service took an hour and the reception did not answer the phone on many occasions I rang them. The only movies available on the system the night we stayed there were adult movies, which gave me a really seedy feeling about the hotel. There is always a delay to get into dining room for breakfast - waiting time over 10 minutes and every table was dirty while we ate our breakfast.

perfectly adequate, fair value.reception staff were professional and helpful, but there were significant queues at peak times. This was our second visit. We'd requested a cot for our 2yr old (as before, and was on our email confirmation), but this was news to the person at reception. A cot was requested then and there, but not delivered until several hours later after we had made another request.Car parking is E3 a day - we knew of this beforehand.Swimming hats must be used when using the pool (as I think with all Irish pools), caps available for E2.50. Room was hot (both on this occasion in hot May and previously in November) and had no aircon. Windows opened a crack, but no more and fire doors prevented sufficient airflow into the room(s). On this occasion, the hotel had placed an electric fan in our room (before we arrived). When checking out, I was advised that in future we could consider an "apartment" next time which do have aircon (this wasn't meant in a cheeky way). The room was classed as "Superior", but I'm not convinced it was any different to their standard double - that said, it was perfectly adequate and we were not inclined to be bothered moving. The room had an empty mini-bar fridge (as last time) which was handy for keeping our snacks cool. This hotel is more set up for business/conferences, but suitable as a base for all sorts. Hotel can be a little hairy to get to via the new M50 (toll) motorway... You might SatNav to Liffey Vally Shopping Centre and navigate from there.

A poor 4* hotelA very poor 4* hotel. On arrival the receptionist was friendly, but I had to ask for information which should automatically be voiced i.e. times and location of where to take breakfast etc. Also, the restaurant was closed for the Sunday evening I arrived. The bar area, offering (supposed) fine asian cuisine was awful. The food was only fit for the bin, with an expensive price too. My wine was served in a lipstick stained glass. No area has been designated for children. This too, meant that squealing, noisy, unruly children were allowed to run around the restaurant whilst I was trying to enjoy (!) my meal.Room cleanliness wasn't too good either. The trays which house the tea/coffe was filthy, and so was the ceramic container holding the sugar. Will not be staying here again as the overall experience was unpleasant.

beautifull hotel in a really bad part of dublin, on the sat night it was like bayrootWhat a beautiful hotel but the staff on reception were rude, our hotel key stopped workin 6 times in 4 days, on two occasions people came into our room with a key (not staff) we had too pay to park in the hotel 3 euro per day. So expensive most definitely won't be returning. The hotel is located in a council estate in a Dublin suburb (clondalkin) or some thing like that. There was a riot in the lobby on Saturday night over spill from the pub the garda were all over there was screaming it was horrible as the police and door staff wrestled people to the ground we didn't feel safe.

Good quality hotel with comfortable rooms and great facilitiesThe room we were allocated was spacious and clean and the beds very comfortable.I was impressed by the gym facilities at the hotel and the restaurants which served good quality food. There is a definite corporate feel to the hotel, but for a base which is well located, clean and goos value for money, then I would recommend this hotel.

Nice hotelA nice standard of accomodation. Rooms a good size with good ammenities. Staff not very friendly and not very knowledgable about the area. Good frequent bus service costing 1 Euro 80 a single which takes about 25 minutes to take you into Dublin, however it does take a good 10 minutes to walk to the bus stop! Good selection for Breakfast however food not very hot. We did not know the resturant would be shut in the evenings it only opens Friday and Saturday night. We had a dinner included in our reservation I was told it was a 3 course dinner by Laterooms but it wasn't it was a meal to the value of 21 Euros pp. We had to have the bar menu and even then 21 Euros did not cover a starter and a main course!! Would not stay here again. Would prefer a hotel in the centre of Dublin.

The hotel is situated a good way out of Dublin - expect to pay around 15 euros for a cab. Although listed as having a spa, it is really a health club with limited spa facilities. Spa staff very good - experienced and well qualified as well as pleasant. Pool not very heated - you need to be quite brave for that experience! Hotel staff were not very good, communication poor and often had to ask several times for the same thing! We upgaded to a 'suite' which is really a kind of apartment - beware, these are only serviced ever four days and getting new supplies of anything was like pulling teeth... Food in Kudos was good - although surroundings are a bit shabby...Motorway very near so ask for a room away from that - and the nightclub at the back.....

used the leisure/pool facilities which were excellent, staff helpful in this part but ate out so never experienced staff in other parts of hotel only reception. helpful again but too busy as always a queue. queued on booking in and out and saw it at other times. room clean and tidy and furnished to a high standard. food and drinks pricy but was similar price to everywhere in dublin.

Lovely hotel, swimming pool facilities also very nice and clean. Room was great and they had a single bed in for my daughter. Breakfast was gorgeous and had everything you would like. Went to synergie restaurant for dinner, receptionist booked this when we arrived. The waitress (whose name I cannot remember but I know she is from Italy) was so nice ... and made my daughter feel really important. This is certanly a member of staff to hold on to and a very hard worker. Didn't go to the bar as we had my daughter with us, but just facing the hotel is an off sales which we went and got a bottle of wine and went back to the room. The only unfortunate thing was when we were booking out on the Sunday, the receptionist told us we had another night booked for the same price, but laterooms did not tell us that. we would have loved another night in this hotel. I am planning to go back in late Sept, so hopefully I will be able to get as good a deal as I did last weekend. If you are not looking to stay in the city centre of Dublin definately a hotel to stay in. First class hotel, along with a first class service received by all.
