Clarion is the Best Location and Hotel if you want to be close to Beach for all the water sports and local area Dining. Just minutes away from the Erie Airport. This is always my first choice when visiting Erie.

The bed was very comfortable the pillows were great. PH level of the pool was terrible, turned our nails green. It was comfortable and staff was friendly, beautiful lobby area, but we were unhappy about the pool, and that's the first thingI look at in a hotel. It was hard to breathe in the pool room with all the chlorine.

The check in went well and the room was satisfactory overall. There was a surplus of pillows but the coffee maker did not work. We were very disappointed in the restaurant in the hotel. Although it was after eight and the restaurant appeared empty, the hostess promised to seat us in "five Minutes", we waited over 15 minutes until deciding to go back to the room and just order pizza.

This is our second year at the Clarion BelAir. It is a perfect landing spot for our annual mother/daughter shopping trip to Erie. The hot breadfast and comfortable rooms make this a place to come back to again and again. The room was musty smelling upon arrival, but cleared out after a few minutes. New beds, pillows, and comforters added to the feeling of luxury.

Ok where should I start, I guess with the good things. They are renovating. Ok that's it for the good stuff. Rooms are small, beds are hard. You do get a choice of pillows (firm/soft) so I guess that could be considered another good thing. Oh wait another thing the Atrium/Pool area was very nice. Although the indoor pool was small and there was nobody around to police the dirty towels, beer bottles and black coffee mugs (china) from the room. Breakfast was a travisty. A hot buffet was offered from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. We arrived around 9:00 AM to find the following: - All hot food was either empty or to the crusty point - The chafing dishes which hold the hot food were to hot to handle - Food spills were all over the steamtable - There was no server to be found to get a glass of water. - Two selections of cereal - Fresh Fruit not on Ice - Yogurt swimming in water, not ice - Very few pastry selections - Plates and silverware were stained - Waffle machine out of batter I guess what made it worse was I couldn't find a server to get water but you could find the server's TIP BASKET! I did write a short note to the F&B Manager & GM and handed it in at the front desk, hoping to let them know what was happening. I expected to see some type of change the next morning but to my surprise nothing had been corrected. In fact it was WORSE! I will never stay at this hotel again or any other Clarion property. In closing, if you like hard beds, soft pillows, lousy food and a hotel under renovation. THIS IS THE PLACE! :(

The atrium is wonderful and so relaxing. Pool area needs a clock it is so easy to loose track of time there. Rooms are clean and attractive, bathrooms are a little small, but very functional and clean. The pool area is very peaceful and attractive. Restaurant food and service are both very good. Friendly staff - convenient location.

I stayed there for a week. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The Breakfasts were awesome. Never had a problem with service. Never had to wait in any line for any food, there was always more than pleny for everyone. Enjoyed my stay very much and would stay here again anytime.

it had computer ready rooms. it was close to the airport and located near the business district. itwas clean and the breakfasts were provided free.

The swimming pool and the breakfast area was cozy while being tastefully decorated with love plantings. Generally pleasant and relaxing.

We chose the Bel-Air because of its proximity to Presque Isle. There isn't a nicer hotel closer to the beach than this one. The rooms were nice but nothing fancy. The pool was very nice (our kids loved it). The only drawback is the 'free' breakfast buffet was severely understaffed and inefficient. We waited both days for many items to be replenished. Guests don't know the flow of the buffet as it isn't clear and waiting in long lines for a cold cereal dispenser to be re-filled is a little silly. Other than that, the Bel-Air was the best fit for our vacation by the beach and waterpark.

Although the dining options were certainly below average, this hotel offered a comfortable bed on the outskirts of Erie.The bathroom was a reasonable size. Wireless internet access was available, which was certainly a pleasant surprise. All in all it was a nice safe hotel, that I would recommend for short stays. The pool is really lovely and adds a perk that the hotel is lacking otherwise.

They supplied our room with a crib. It looked like a skanky dive. I was so disappointed thathotel was actually a motel, with no room service or other amenities to speak of. I will never stay there again.

)Price was too high for what we received.2)Breakfast buffet not very good 3) Air conditioning was not working in the exercise room, and there was no treadmill.4)We tried to buy a pay per view movie and it came on in the middle of the movie- they coudl not get it to work. 5) We left our cell phone charger in the room. I called housekeeping 3 days ago and never received a call back. I called today just after 5 PM, and the desk said they cant get into the housekeeping area and that I SHOULD CALL back after 9 AM. He did not offer to have them call me back even when I suggested it.

Free hot breakfast. Erie, PA is a delightful and unique place. I was visiting for business purposes. I have been to Erie on many day trips for business. This was just my second overnight trip. The Bel Air Clarion Resort allowed me to be close to where I was presenting, the room way clean, the bed and pillows smelled clean and fresh. The hot breakfast was great. The indoor pool layout as well as the entire resort is uncommon.

Convenient location, nice pool,excellent breakfastandfriendly staff. I can't think of anything that was not pleasing. Attractive, clean, friendly, close to Presque Isle, not far from theaters, Mall, easy to access Interstates 79 and 90 making travel to other attractions easy. The four in our group were very happy with the hotel. We stayed for 10 days and really enjoyed our vacation.

Nothing. The room was extremely dirty, the bed has insects and torn sheets and blankets. Overall this hotel is the worst I have ever stayed at.
