You may consider this hotel if you need accommodation for one night close to the Dublin airport and don't mind badly worn out beds and bathtubs, faulty air conditioning (or not working at all), unpleasant smell in some rooms and lack of elevators. For all other purposes stay away, I've been staying in many other hotels and motels priced at half the Clarion rate, and many of them offered much higher comfort.

Business HotelI would classify this as a business hotel - possibly getting to the stage where it is in need of refurbishment. The service was great and the internet was free.

A very handy hotel for Dublin Airport (less than 5 minutes by their shuttle bus) Food good with an asian twist and rooms comfortable.

Only stayed here one night. Room was clean and quiet. Free shuttle from the airport. I ate at the restaurant. Service was slow, but food was good.

This was one of the worst experiences of my life. We stayed for 2 nights and we had 6 hotel rooms. One i was with my grandparents and they put us on level 1 which has no elevator to access that floor.(let alone a elevator at all) This hotel only has one handicap accessible room,(which was already taken) so they had a very hard time taking a shower because they are so high. They eventually moved them up to a level 2 room but the beds are a foot off the floor so they had a hard time getting in and out of them. 1 of the rooms the shower didnt work. All but 1 room the showers had mold growing on the walls and shower curtains. There was hair on the bathroom floors and stains on the carpets. 2 of the rooms had spiders and other bugs in them. Also one of the rooms found a pop bottle under the bed and the other on the pull out couch we found a shirt and a pair of pants so obviously the maids did not clean the sheets. The manager was rude and only offered the maids to change the sheets. In the hall outside my room was a room servivce tray which sat on the floor for over a day, which also had cigarette butts in it in a non smoking room. We ate dinner in the lounge by the bar and it took 15 min. for someone to come and even take a drink order and then another 15 to take the food order, the food all came out at seperate times and never even brought some of the things we asked for. Obviously this hotel does not care about customer satisfaction and the employees only care about their paychecks. I would not wish this experience upon my worst enemy.

Nice hotel, be careful with your parking!Hotel was a stop over prior to an early flight. We got the free bus into Dublin which was good. The room was clean and very acceptable for the price. VERY disappointed that we had to pay a shed load of money for parking. This really should be included in the price.

My wife and I stayed at the Clarion last night before a flight to the U.S. There is extensive airport construction going on around the hotel but it doesn't seem to have any noticeable effect on the interior of the hotel. We booked a low rate through Orbitz, and I couldn't help but feel this influenced the assignment of rooms. We seemed to walk forever to the end of "older" section. The room was clean and adequate with sufficient space and an excellent view of the parking lot. L The mattress was rather thin, one of those spongy types with not much support. There was A/C, a TV, a desk and free WiFi. It was okay for one night but certainly not "4-star" by any stretch. We ate dinner in the "Kudos" restaurant. We booked a table for 7PM when we checked-in to the hotel. We arrived on-time and were seated promptly. The service was good and our food and drinks were surprisingly good. The prices are in line with most Dublin dinner restaurants, which means high. 2 entrees, 2 pints of cider plus tip, $65! The next morning the shuttle bus wound it's way to the airport through the construction in a short 5-mins. Recommend the hotel for convenience and it's dining.

Hotel itself is fine but rooms are not worthy of a 4 star hotel let alone 5. Smell of smoke through hallways in non-smoking area - need better ventilation.

The location can't be beat if you're staying overnight for an early morning flight. The shuttle runs every half hour OR WHENEVER YOU USE THEIR FREE COURTESY PHONE TO BE PICKED UP! The place was decorated pretty well, although it didn't look brand new. The rooms were fine, though not top-of-the-line. But hey, for * euros a night for three people we got a great deal.

The other airport hotels had their shuttles running constantly, while the Clarion shuttle only ran every half hour. My wife and I wanted to be able to catch the AirLink buses into the city. Many times we ended up just walking to the airport. We waited for our food at the Kudos restaurant for over a half hour, and watched as people who came in after us got their food. It turned out that someone else got our food, but we were never told. The staff was often rude when we asked about certain things.

Shuttle bus runs every 20 mins from airport to the hotel. Nice modern hotel, with fairly basic but clean rooms.

Reception area and bar area looked good, well decorated, but as soon as you got through to bedrooms and corridor area it was obvious hotel was looking very tired with thread bare carpet and scuffed paint work on walls (this mainly applies to corridor areas). Room was clean enough and adequete but hotel was expensive even at discounted rate of 109euro for the night. At least it was convenient for the airport (within walking distance of terminal).
