This is the most unpleasant place to stay. The hotel allows truckers and busses to park on the property and idle loaud, stinky diesels, day & night. With proximity immediately next to I-25, you are assured front row seats to all police sirens whizzing by. The bums and the drunks who inhabit the neighborhood are something to behold as well.

Great location; good value; andfriendly staff. Small bathrooms. Once the renovation is complete, this will be a very nice option for the area.

stayed 7 days over christmas 2008. Had the staff almost to ourselves. T shared valuable info about nearby eateries, helped us know where to shop. M catered to our breakfast needs as if we were his only clients. Hotel is within walking distance of the Tejon St restaurant area and the Monument valley riverwalk. Ok so we were biased. the Springs is home for us and we felt very comfortable in the downtown atmosphere. Will stay again.

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, it is close to the downtown and centrally located. The hotel has just completed a remodel and they did a wonderfull job. The lobby has been completely redone. The business center is as good as any I have used. Lot's of area to spread out and work. The hotel also has a 24 hour food service area that you can grab n' go. They remodeled their restaurant and have a themed nightly buffet. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Anytime I am in Colorado Springs I am sure to stay

Cleaniness of room, and friendliness of staff. Very convenient location with a great staff. The rooms were very clean, and the housekeeping staff was very accommodating as well.

The buffet wasn't excellent, but the service was very good! Being that it was complimentary, we certainly couldn't comlain.

I thouroughly enjoyed my stay at the Clarion. While it may not be the most polished of hotels, the staff, breakfast and comfort were outstanding. The shuttle was a wonderful amenity to have and even though it only went up to three miles from the hotel it was perfect for my stay. The hotel is going through some refurbishing and the room was a bit "tired." If you plan on sightseeing or being out of the hotel for the majority of the day and then coming back to wireless internet, tv and relaxing this is the place for you.

Coffee GREAT, room comfortable andbreakfast good. Temperature of water in shower varied. Staff was great, halls needed upkeep, room was comfortable, coffee GREAT, breakfast better than average.

The front lobby and entrance of the hotel is very nice, marble floors, waterfall, very updated. However, as you walk down the hallway toward the elevator the ambiance completely changes. The carpets is snagged, frayed and dirty. The walls are filthy. The elevator looked like a janitorial closet stuck in the corner and was barely big enough for my husband and I along with our luggage. The wallpaper in our bathroom was coming off, the shower head was weak, the caulking around the bathtub was rotting... We decided to take the stairs instead of the horrible elevator, and even that was a miserable experience. Every othere step was slanting backwards as if they were going to cave at any moment. Seriously, I was embarrassed to tell people where we were staying. I will NEVER stay @ a Clarion again. Terrible

the front desk girl tony, and other were sweet, great, helpful, nice, and did what they were supposed to do,went out of their way to be helpful.

Free Wi-Fi and breakfast. The rooms were way substandard. Rooms in need of substantial upgrading. The room had torn carpet, closet doors missing, closet bar was not installed right and was angled down at one end, room refrigerator door would not close properly. Requested a different room, which was only a little better - no refrigerator, mattress was sagging.

Nothing. It didn't seem like it was a safe location and our room was in the basement. The smell was horrible! No review. I couldn't even stay there. My standards are higher than that.

hotel has very friendly staff from the registration desk to the breakfast attendant. Very comfortable beds, and the breakfast buffet was great

The hotel was for the most part clean and under renovation. I feel that is a good sign that they are interested in the maintenance of their facility. I understood that there was an indoor pool but it was under construction. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facility was under renovation but not so much that it was an intrusion. I would stay here again.

Staff and location were good. Bed was very average. General feel was a little dirty. Nice staff, good location. Not a hotel I would necessarily recommend.

Location and room was clean when we arrived. They did not clean our room the second day and replacement of the dirty towels was not done. Okay hotel with good location. Rooms were clean except for the mistake by house keeping in not cleaning our room on the second day.

Very friendly staff. Parking lot not lighted entrance carpet removed with nails sticking up. Will be a nice place once remodeling is completed. Had to walk outside to reach front desk. Parking area did not feel safe. Could not find continental breakfast location.

Wireless worked some of the time. Fast service to room but hallways and lobby very cold. Good hot buffet in the morning otherwise restaurant was closed. Got 10% discount at Denny's (across the street named Bijou).

Convenient to downtown. All torn up and management did not care. Good location and good potential but I would hesitate to use it again due to management attitude.

This was my first experience with a Clarion Hotel. The location was near downtown off the interstate. The highway improvements have just been completed so access to the hotel is easy. The front desk staff was very professional and helpful. The room furniture appeared to be like new and the bed was incredible, very comfortable and the bedding looked as though it should be in a much more expensive hotel. 2 types of pillows on the bed. I had a king and the bed had 4 pillows. I enjoyed the hotels manager reception, appetizers and a free beverage. The morning breakfast buffet was not your typical hotel breakfast of danish and cereal. they had all that plus eggs, meat and potatoes; now that is what a breakfast is. I would suggest the hotel add a hot tub in their outdoor courtyard. My room faced the courtyard which was real nice to look at a landscaped courtyard verses a parking lot. I enjoyed my stay I will definitely use this hotel when I am in Colorado Springs again
