I only needed one night at the Atlanta airport. This was a very good hotel at a very good price.

Privacy and the hassel free environment. Nothing I can think of. The hotel met all of my expectation and purpose of my trip. Parking was good and the hotel was clean, with friendly staff.

air conditioning fan very loud, door rattled when other other doors closed which kept me awake. no continental breakfast. not even coffee downstairs. extremely unrestful sleep. with such a convenient location to airport the hotel could do much better job catering to clients.

Clarion Hotel College Park Ga. The outside of the hotel looked nice. Check in was ok. We were to have had a room upgrade to the excutive floor (this did not happen. The room was ok Nothing to write home about. BUT the smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling by its wires. and the photo hanging on the wall the glass was broke in it. As far as the handicap room went the shower had a portable transfer bench and hand rails. I was not impressed for the money and what was excpected.

I was assigned a smoking room without being told and find it very hard to be comfortable in a room that stinks of cigarette smoke.

So why only three stars when all my checkpoints were rated four or five? Well, I took the rail transit system into Atlanta, which begins at the airport nearby, and I took the hotel's shuttle to get to the airport. According to the hotel's advertisements, the shuttle is provided every 15 minutes until late at night, then every 30 minutes afterward. However, because no flights came into the airport past a certain time on the night of my stay, no shuttle came to take me back to the hotel. I was essentially stranded. I won't tell you how I got back, but it took a while to do so and required much more hassle than one should anticipate. My stay was great otherwise, but if you plan on taking the rail transit to get into Atlanta, you should really ask someone at the hotel about the last flight into the airport, because someone might not be there to pick you up if you stay in the city beyond a certain hour.

The Clarion was very comfortable and a very clean hotel. Nice size rooms, shuttle service to and from the airport, room service. Very clean with a good staff and service.

"We chose the hotel for the advertised ""Complimentary shuttle to/from airport, and attractions and restaurants within five mile radius."" Turns out they only shuttle to the airport,according to the desk staff the other shuttles are not part of their services. The receptionist also gave incomplete directions on how to find their shuttle at the airport.The controls for the cooling function of the HVAC did not work and we could hear the radio in the adjoining room through the connecting door even though both were closed and locked. "

"The beds were very comfortable but the a/c was obnoxiously loud as it went on/off during the night. Also, there was not a single bit of information in our rooms about the on-site restaurant, the pool, or any other hotel amenities."

Staff was great...they gave me a room just like I asked for...It was clean, kept clean, and provided a great place to rest while still near the airport....Soaps and lotions were of higher quality than most hotels....Bed was comfortable & I just found it a pleasant stay that was very convenient!

The clarion hotel is a nice inexpensive hotel the only thing that I did not like was the hotel had nowhere for you to warm up food. I realize that it is a business but as a consumer who travels when you travel you are also eating at restaurants and for a hotel to not have a microwave for the guest to warm up their food is just an inconvenience to the guest and will cause me not to recommend your hotel.

The Clairion Atlanta Airport was impressive on arrival and welcomed the two of us (long-time girlfriends traveling without husbands). Very pleasant staff from first contact. Reception coordinated with Housekeeping to secure room for early check-in and provided information about local shopping (directions to Wal-Mart) and restaurant and lounge hours. There was a family reunion taking place while we were there. What a great idea! I will strongly consider having a family reunion at the Clairion Atlanta Airpot due to its hospital staff and room amenities, indoor and outdoor pool, fitness center, great breakfast, and convenient location to airport and major highways. There is no need to leave the facility and, actually, other than paying a visit to a dear friend at Emory Hospital, we spent our time right in the hotel. Total comfort and relaxation. I well-deserved break from the day-to-day routine. And, oh, by the way, several airline crew members stayed at The Clairion; that's a great testimony to traveler convenience (complimentary shuttle bus to and from the airport every 15 minutes)!

I had a bad experience with the airport shuttle to the Clarion Hotel Atlanta Airport. The vehicle did not have a designated pick up point. When I found the vehicle, it was full. After over 1 1/2 hours trying to catch the shuttle, I took a cab. I told the desk about the about the problem and asked the hotel to cover the cost of the cab, which did not cover. I will not use this hotel again.

This hotel has a good location to the airport and they offer shuttle service to and from the airport and you can leave your car there for only $5 per night while you are away.
