This was by far the most incompetent staff I have ever come across! The fire alarm went off at 2:00 in the morning and many of us ran outside thinking that there was an emergency. We sat there in our pajamas with no shoes on for 45 minutes waiting for someone to tell us what was going on. None of the staff ever told us if there was a fire or not. We did not know if we could go back inside or if emergency services were called. Finally someone outside with us called the fire department which when the arrived went to the back of the hotel leaving us again with no clue what was happening. I now find out that we were sitting there the whole time just because the power went out. When I called the manager to complain she told me she was there the whole time telling people what was happening which was a blatant lie because there was never a woman on the scene. She clearly arrived after we had all gone back up to our rooms. She did not want to hear my complaint and ignored all of my concerns. If there was an actual emergency I can't even begin to imagine how they could have handled it. I will never be back!

Poor parking. The staff is very good but the fee for parking and the inconvenience of the parking lot will not encourage me to stay there again.

had a very bad experience there. a water pipe broke and they said there was nothing they could do about it luckily my son was staying there for a tournament and he did have water so we could at least brush our teeth. parking is also a joke its like your in a prison in order to get out of the parking lot you have to get tickets and if they dont work you have to drive around and go back to the front desk and have them issue you a new one the management was horrible asking them what we could do about not having any water they just said it was an unseen thing to happen but no answers on what to do about taking showers at all would never stay there again. you can stay at a marriott or hilton or even the cute hotel on the back side and pay no parking which is 12 bucks a night at the clarion.

Room outdated, slow elevators and when tried to use stairs every door said alarm will sound, terriable resturaunt, rude employees, and very small bathrooms. Thought that Neigihborhood Disney would be better.

When I checked in I reconfirmed that I would have a balcony. The front desk clerk assured me I would. She asked me for my address and I gave her a PO Box # and she asked me if this was a house or apartment #. I gave her the town I lived in and she asked how to spell "Lake" (I do speak english very clearly.) I got to the room and there was an 18 inch ledge - no balcony, the clock was set for 3 hours later and I could not get it to change to correct time. I went down stairs for dinner at the MExican Restaurant and the waitress sat me at a table that had been used before. She says "This table is clean we just didnt feel like folding he napkins." The next morning I went to dry my hair for my meeting and the drier did not work. So I went to the front desk and told them of the problems in the room and the fron desk clerk looked exasperated and said "Do you want them exchanged?" and I said yes. I went to my meeting. wet hair and all. and upon my return - nothing was fixed or exchanged. I went to the Mexican Restaurant for lunch and had spilled a couple of spots of the "salsa" which looked and tasted like pea soup. When I returned to the restuarant - since it was the only one open at any time I had been there - They sat me at the same table I had been at at luch and i noticed the SAME two spots I had left at lunch. They did not bother to change the table cloth after I had left at lunch! At check out I voiced my concern with the front desk clerk again and did get some feeling that I was being listened too. I had breakfast at Tivoli and this restaurant and staff where much better. I will not return to this holtel adn will be sure my business associates, friends and family here of this disgusting place.

Not good at all look like rooms window seals never cleaned. I would not recommend the hotel to family or friends. Mostly outdated hotel needs to be brought up to current hotels.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. The rooms were very outdated - 80's style. The lights made louds pops when they were turned off. The bathrooms were the worst. They were small, the shower heads were very low, the sink didn't drain good, and the toilet didn't flush completely without a couple of flushes. My view was the concrete roof. Others in my group had a balcony but it was very small. You couldn't even put a chair on it. The staff was friendly and the Tivoli restaurant was good. But I still would not recommend staying here.

This was a great place to stay and very reasonably priced. The actual distance, though, to the Disneyland gate is 3/4 of a mile. I thought that the "one block from Disney" was a bit deceptive.

The location. The smell. It was a good hotel to stay in for a vacation.

"We took our two grandchildren(ages 7 and 10) to Disneyland and stayed at the Clarion. The second night, about 200 local grads moved into the hotel and partied around us, above us and under us. We spoke to the front desk and they immediately moved us to a higher floor and apolized. The remainder of our stay was wonderful. The pool was great - the kids enjoyed playing there and meeting new friends. We would recommend this hotel to our friends with no hesitation. The shuttle service to Disneyland was cheap, quick and had a great schedule. Our stay overall was nothing short of great. "

Rooms were smaller than they appeared on website. When I called to confirm my room came with a balcony, they didn't tell me it was only 12-15"" wide (a person with big feet would not be able to stand forward). I was truely dissapointed. Next time, I will verify the size of the ""balcony""!!The personnel were very polite and extremely helpful.

Hotel staff not attentive upon arrival, had to call to someone behind a wall, never was told about a 12.00 parking fee on arrival, only on check-out, Rooms are in bad need of updating, air conditioner was VERY LOUD, many others were experiencing a delay in getting out of parking lot because their ticket did not work. I would not stay at the Hotel again at all, especially with so many other choices in the area.

Friendly and helpful staff. I am light sleeper and I can hear the non-stop Disney buses running all night because we are near a very busy intersection. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for business travelers going to the Anaheim convention center. I did not eat at the hotel's restaurants since it did not seem appealing to me. However, there are a number of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Other than the hotel being located near a very busy intersection and hearing the constant roar of Disneyland buses going by - which is not helpful for light sleepers like me, you get a good bang for your buck. I suggest bringing ear plugs and having a room that faces away from Convention Way and Harbor Blvd.

Stayed only one night with my family on the second floor. View of roof top. Rooms are rundown and smelled. Brown stuff came out of the sink drain. They fixed. Floor in front of sink was damp when we came in. It hadn't dried by the next day....My family refuses to stay here again..

This was an okay hotel. It worked well for our stay. My only complaint was that parking was $12 a day! I thought that was a little outrageous. Other than that - I was satisfied overall.

Comfortable beds and, large rooms. Poor lighting in the rooms, electrical outlets were falling apart. Decent rooms if not a little old looking. Bathrooms could use a rehab since they look a bit shabby. The beds are comfy and the rooms are large. If you are not spending a lot of time there it is a perfect place to lay your head after a long day at Disney.

For the * I paid I was disappointed with the room. I've stayed in rooms that were half the price and lots nicer. Also you have to pay 10 a night for parking which stinks. The bathrooms are old and need updating. The air conditioning worked well though. The nintendo games that they offer in the room are 7/hr. and the game room is wimpy. If I have to pay more for a hotel room the amenities and extras should be free! I recommend staying at one of the cheaper hotels near disney and getting your free continental breakfast and free parking. Room was no better than a motel.

The Clarion Anaheim is really convenient to Disneyland, the Anaheim Convention Center. Disneyland is about a 15-20 minute walk or you can take a shuttle for $3 round trip. The room was very large. I was on the second floor but it was still very quiet. I was a party of one, but the room was large enough for a family of four. There was a sofa bed, wet bar, microwave, refrigerator, and room safe. This is a really good value. Parking is $12/day, but with everything so close I didn't even use my car. I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant. $11 for a toasted muffin, large OJ and tip. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

It was perfect for what I was looking for in my travels. The handle in the shower came of in the shower. I was looking for a hotel last minute for a trip to Disneyland on New Years Day. I found the Clarion three days before my trip. When I got there the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful

From outside appearances, my first reaction was less than enthusiastic when I walked into Clarion's lobby when other lobbies of more glamorous hotels were near the Anaheim convention center. But I was pleasantly surprised after entering my room. It was comfortable and cozy and I found everything that I needed. It was a good room and a great rate for any business traveler.
