The large room overlooked a lake, was very clean, quiet, and nicely appointed with new and tasteful furnishings, including a huge bed that was actually comfortable with six pillows, microwave, mini fridge,wet bar, a granite countertop in bathroom and many mirrors including a magnifying mirror made morning grooming easy, though the surround tub was a bit seedy . The hot selfserve breakfast was a welcome site served up just off the lobby in a cheerful lake view room. People were happily munching out on ham and scrambled eggs, cereal, biscuits and gravy, muffins, fruit, yogurt, and waffles not to mention coffee, tea, and juices. The staff is knowledgeable about Portland and have handouts to direct you to where you will be visiting.I am a seasoned traveller so I can say I wish could have stayed longer. Next trip up I will be staying here.

Spacious rooms with a view! Beautiful decor. Courteous and "go out of their way to please client" staff. Buffet was great. And best of all; Tempur Pedic beds with down pillows! I didn't miss my bed during the whole stay. In a word, "WOW"

Pros: The room and bathroom were beautifully designed and decorated better than a 4-Star hotel. The bed and pillows were so comfortable I slept soundly. Complimentary breakfast had both hot and cold foods and was very filling. Cons: Late one night, I had to drive around the parking lot mulitple times looking for a parking space. Finally, I double-parked and went into the lobby to ask the clerk for assistance. I was told to just park in the handicap space for the night. Another minor con, the t.v. did not sit on a swivel base, therefore you scratched the beautiful desk to angle the t.v. around. Other than that, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past and we have found it to be our preference when traveling out of state. The rooms are clean and the service is very friendly. No better place to stay for a park and fly. They have a restaurant right across the street which just so happens to be my husband's favorite. We highly recommend the Clarion to anyone who is traveling.

Spent the week in Portland on business. The room was perfect as it was large, had a refrigerator, and microwave, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was good as well as there was plenty of parking and restaurants nearby. The workout room was really nice and had plenty of good equipment. I would definately stay there again and would take my family as I think they would enjoy it as well.

This was a beautiful hotel with very clean facilities with a pleasant, friendly & helpful staff. The price was reasonable, and the stay was great! Their breakfast buffet was fantastic! The free shuttle to and fro was very convenient. I would definately choose this hotel again and recommend it! Also family friendly.

Despite having to change rooms initially due to annoying running water just behind bedroom wall, our stay was great. The receptionist was quick and very helpful in changing our room to the other side of the hotel. The room was large / clean and the bed was very comfortable. The Clarion is an excellent option for quick stay prior to a flight out.

The staff was friendly and the hotel was really clean. This hotel met all of my expectations. It was wonderfully decorated and the room was clean. It was so nicely situated with the river behind it and was very quiet. I would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Clarion. The rooms were clean and updated and the overall facility was very nice. The complimentary breakfast was great. Hotel was quiet especially considering proximity to the airport. Easy freeway access. The only complaints/concerns I had: the doors from the outside were never locked so anyone could come in the hotel and the orange juice at breakfast was exceedingly sweet (I know, a very minor issue). Overall, very nice visit and we would stay there again.

Gave us key to room that already occupied. Scared the young mother with baby-- a lot. Did give us $10 off room rate. WOW Refrig had a sauce packet already in --but fridge not cold and not installed solidly. Bed comfortable. We slept well.

Located a tad far from arpt.-theshuttle runs 1/2hr skedule. Front desk reception did not make our wake-up call until 5:45am - not 5:00am as requested! Good restaurant very close (Shiloh's).

The staff was outstanding and so helpful. Carpets need to be changed. We arrived late and the desk clerk assisted us in getting our boarding passes for the next morning's early flight. She went out of her way to help us. The shuttle driver was also very friendly.

Great location. Construction, rude staff in breakfast area. Several entrances were unavailable due to construction. The girl that worked the breakfast buffet area was rude and unhelpful. We asked her if she could refill the yogurt display, as there was over an hour left until the meal ended and she simply replied n". The housekeeping staff was great, and very accommodating!
