Great hotel for the price that I paid.

This is the way people will think of Jacksonville to have such a dirty and dingy hotel right on the Airport property. Hallways as I first went to my room were dark and VERY dirty. The way the door handles worked with the key was unconventional compared to all other hotels I have been in. The phone did not dial as indicated on the phone to the front desk. I had to walk back to the front desk to be told to just dial 0 instead of relying on the preset buttons on the phone. The room was dated and dirty, the TV had no remote and just continuously scanned through all channels when I tried to operate it manually. The main light in the bathroom was out. The toilet did not flush well. Overall I was disgusted and if it had not been so late with having an early flight, I would have left and gone elsewhere. I actually asked the front desk it they were planning to shut the place down and had just stopped investing anyting in maintenance. I got half my money back, but I think a full refund would have been more appropriate until they get the place back in order. My parents have just moved to within 2 hours of JAX and I will be using that airport a lot, but I will never reserve at the Clarion again and online travel website should disassociate itself with this facility!!!!!!

This hotel is in a good location, but that is it. One mile down the road are some fabulous hotels. This hotel is in the same league as Motel 6 but charging 3X as much!! What a rip!!

Greeter behind the desk seemed unterested..pointed to where our room was located. Failed to mention to taike the stairs. later I killed a cockroach .

So close to the airport. I forgot my diamond earring and their shuttle driver delivered it to me at the airport. Such great customer service. This is a nice clean hotel very close to the airport. The shuttle bus was prompt and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to you if you want a nice clean place to stay close to the airport.

It was located very close to the airport and was easy and convenient to get to. The morning buffet breakfast was excellent. This hotel needs a renovation. Many of the public areas show little maintenace. The hotel chain needs to put some money into this hotel. Some of the room around the pool had older furnishing and need to be updated. The pool are needs to be cleaned and repainted. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Hotel staff were friendly. The beds were very comfortable. Convenient location. Just needs to have some money spent on the public areas. Just getting old.

the rooms were nasty and walls paper thin you could hear a pin drop in the next room. They put me in a room that was already occupied first then the next room smell like it had burned before we got there. didn't get settled in until 3 am and had a 7 am flight out.

Room was clean and kids enjoyed the hot tub. The extrior of building was dirty as was the hallway carpets. The room was fine for money. The free breakfast was very light (donuts / muffins / milk juice).

"This hotel locates right at the airport, which gives free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel, and also from the hotel to the port for the cruise. It is convinient and clean. The room size is big and the rate is fair too. The hotel also serves dinner late, which is a plus for the travellers from west coast to Florida. Because we did not have the chance to eat on the airplane. I'll definitely to stay in this hotel next time."

The first smelled like smoke move us the next morning. Pool was to dirty to let my 6 year old swim in. There was no closet door, it was pulled from the wall, and vending machines were empty. Breakfast was really bad. We will never stay there again. We should have stayed some other place. Lady at the front desk did try to help us. But, we left I left a family blanket I called today to see if they still had it. She said it would be at the front desk. My sister drove out there to get it. My name was on an empty box. I will have to call again in the morning and she will need to make another trip out there to get my blanket. It is my fault that I left it. But, I was in a hurry to get back home this hotel was not good at all.

It's close to the airport terminal. It's run down, has no desks, cheap food court in lobby makes whole place stink. It's well past it's time. The owner is milking it and putting nothing back in to it.

"Several comments: We were not in the main building, so we did not see the room layouts there. Our room poolside had a separated bathroom layout(?) A wall in the center created separate very tiny rooms with poor lighting, and no hooks or rods to hang towels or anything else. The lite above the door didn't work. the floor lamp had no bulb. There was no real work surface, nor adequate lite to work on the small table.We used the stairs (no room# signage), because the elevators were further away then the distance direct to the room."

Tip top shape; washer and dryer in unit. There was other check in from other owners. Should be known up front not to go to the fourth floor for check in. Pay for umbrella stand. Excellent condominium. Should be more like Marriott with a check of all amenities at the unit. Excellent view. No complaints of noise as in other posts, we went in late April. Temp of water 74 degrees.

Close to airport. 20 words are not enough. If being afraid to take shoes off, and felling the need to have your scalp examined for lice is your idea of fun, by all means check right in.

ambiance was very nice location next to airport very convenient cleanliness of bathrooms room and pool; food in restaurant was fair at best
