Clarion Grand Hotel

An excellent traditional hotel which is well on the way to being fully restored to its former glory. 19 jul 99All rooms are in very good condition, although they differ in size. 25% are of small size, 50% are medium sized and 25% are large. The rooms have undergone major renovation since 1995 and are now furnished to an elegant, high standard throughout. In general colours used are deep red or blue with traditionally-patterned curtains completing the 'grand' feel. The bathrooms are in very good condition. The hotel is located in the centre of Helsingborg, a few hundered metres from the waterfront and the heart of the city's shopping area. It is located on the ground floor, a tastefully designed room dominated by marble pillars, large arched wooden windows and medieval tapestriesIt is an impressive traditional facade which overlooks an attractive cul-de-sac with statues and manicured flower borders. The lobby is small and high-ceilinged narrow area, centred on a wide wooden reception desk. It has limited seating and leads to a grand old elevator.
