When we got to the room we saw that that bathroom was not cleaned. It was like the maid simply forgot to do anything. The room itself was fine. The clerk on duty after checking with housekeeping to see if the needed cleanup could be handled (it couldn't, staff had left for the day)got us another room. I asked him if the price was the same and he assured me it was. Well guess what, it wasn't. On reviewing the bill at checkout I noticed the rate was jacked up $10 per night. The morning clerk corected it but wasn't the least bit apologetic and seemed irritated by the matter. To be fair, the replacement room was clean and quiet. We liked the fact that Stop & Shop and the bus stop were right next door.

Cozy. Room was too small. Room was very small, but clean and in a good location. Could have used a coffee maker in the room.

We absolutely loved our trip to Marthas Vineyard! Edgartown was definately the town to stay in. The Clarion is a bit out of the lime light so plan to take a taxi after a night out! Getting a good night's sleep and the bed & linens were very comfortable! They provided all the comforts including an in room refridgerator. The decor is a bit dated and the wall picutes are faded through out the hotel. We also had to lug our baggage up & down the stairs ourselves but otherwise we feel the overall stay was pleasant. Good value for the money and we would consider staying again.

I had achance to spend part of the holidays on the Vineyard. The Clarion staff was great and the rooms and service were top notch. Great island experience!!

This clip-joint will lie to you about the ""government rate"". They charge over twice the official government rate, and you'll get stuck for the difference. Find someplace else if at all possible.
