I wanted to get away after a hectic week of work . So my husband and me without any plans just took off without any reservation and stumbled in to Brandywine Suitets Hotlel rather late at night and we were tired. We just wanted some clean place to sleep. The front desk staff was excellent and as we entered our hotel suite , I was absolutely surprised how big and nice they were. We stayed there for three nights and decided not to go anywhere else . Truly this hotel is worth in every way. The staff made our getaway not only very special but appreciated our business. I was told that there was some radical management changes. The front desk personal was very knowledgeable and took time to show us the hotel. It was a pleasure to see different kinds of suites this hotel had . All were different yet very tastefully decorated. For me it felt, that I have discovered a gem worth exploring

The bathroom appeared to be clean. The carpets were filthy in the lobby, hallways and suites. It looked like a former murder scene or something. This hotel was dark and gloomy. I was looking over my shoulder every time I needed ice.

The hotel was dirty. There weren't any newspapers, continental breakfast and the pub was closed. There was only one staff person for the 24 hours we stayed and he was unavailable for the front desk...there wasn't any soap, shampoo and we had 3 towels - shame on online travel website for offering this hotel on their web site

My train from Clearwater, Fl arrived two hours late.Restaurant was ready to close, but they heated me some wonderful fisherman's stew and delivered it to my clean, well equipped room. Next morning it was pouring rain and windy. Check out person was delightful;, making sure I got some breakfast in a clean, dining area. I was assisted by the competent, courteous manager who helped me with luggage to my car in parking lot across the busy street. He provided help, umbrella and encouragement. I was pleased with the accommodation and will use this as a stop when I use Amtrak which is just six blocks away. I could not ask for a better experience with the people working at this establishment.

Totally renovated two room honeymoon suite, very unique and different in an old Historical building , A European boutique style hotel Heavenly beds Great Food and great bar and launge with an excellent friendly staff made our romantic getaway very memorable. Special gift in the room with assorted cookies ad a Champaigne bottle was a great pleasent surprise. Higly recomend anyone for comfort , value and a different kind of experience as compared to a standard uniform rooms provided at other franchized hotel. Above all I loved it for being a 100 percent Non smoking facility, smelling clean and healthy.

"While the lobby is charming, we had a room with NO WINDOWS, breakfast was served at a pace so slow that it easily became lunch, and they double charged our credit card. Avoid it."
