Transportation:

From the airport:
Public transport: Airbus Express, leaves International and Domestic Terminals every 20 minutes. Alight at the stop outside the Langham Hotel. From there walk up Symonds St, turn right onto Karangahape Rd, walk along Karangahape Rd, then turn right onto Pitt St and right onto Vincent St. We are on the right hand side, about 300m from the top of Vincent St.
Alternatively, use SuperShuttle for a door-to door service.

By car- Take the Symonds Street off ramp when entering the city centre, turn right onto Symonds Street, then the first left onto Karangahape Road (or K'rd)go through two sets of lights and turn right into Pitt Street then right onto Vincent Street before the Shell Station. We are on the right hand side just below the YMCA .

Car Parking:

Very limited carparking available at $10 per night - needs to be pre-booked.

Attractions:

Within easy walking distance to Queen St, K'Rd, Ponsonby, Auckland Domain and Museum, Sky Tower and Sky City Casinos, Viaduct Harbour.
Buses to all destinations in and around the city stop close by.

a single room is quite small but has everything you need. great for a overnighter, very resonably priced and modern and clean. do recommend-

Basic but cheapIf you want minimal, just a low cost clean bed and shower near the city centre, this will do nicely. You may need to ask for fresh towels and a new toilet roll, but the reception staff are friendly and helpful.

A place for allRepresenting all round excellent value for money. Caters for all age groups with a good mix of the nationalities, all prepared to engage in chat. Kitchen and lounge areas are clean and well equipped. Stayed here in 2008 and only to pleased to be there in 2009.

When I stayed at City Lodge, the broadband internet was down (for 5 days???), and insufficient car parks were available. Apart from that, it was good value for money.

Only thing i missed was milk in the room for coffee...did not like the sachet whitener. Perhaps offerring guests to buy milk from a stock you have?

Extremely tiny rooms with limited air flow. Very noisy, both from the street and from the corridor noise.

THis hotel was great value for money, although basic, it was appealing and clean. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin, and not only can you hear all night people 'enjoying' themselves, you can even listen to conversations with your T.V. on!!!If you are younger generation or can sleep through anything, highly recommended. Close to city and very helpful staff.We won't stay again, as we often need to guarantee we can at least have 'some' sleep for a busy next day.

This place is really clean, with good ensuite facilities. It has a huge kitchen area and is a pleasant place to stay. I will say though , at the time we stayed the internet access was not working, and hadn`t been for a while, also there is some heavy building work being done next door, so if you want to lie in after 8am, you`ll need some earplugs.

The hotel is at a quiet street and the area seemed not a very safe area especially at night. It is better to take taxi to the hotel. Room is very small and clean with the very basic facility. It is hardly to find a space in the room to put luggages.
