Great location, nice hotel for city centre breakNice room, clean & tidy. I-mac was a bonus and came in useful. Very soft bed though which was the only downside. Close to amenities and to train station; and car park onsite made arrival easier.

Good service, good locationWe had a complicated booking and didn't manage to arrive until 1 o'clock in the morning but the staff coped with this admirably. Our room was exactly what you expect from a City Inn - chique and comfortable with a touch of luxury. The dinner choice from room service was very good. Also pleasing was the fact that you could open a window in the bedroom - so many of the city hotels have them hermetically sealed! Very handy for the main railway station and a pleasant walk to the shops etc.

City chicThe room was of a high standard; modern, well equipped and light and airy. The hotel, also, seemed very clean and modern and the staff were very business-like and efficient. Parking was expensive but handy for the hotel. Overall, the hotel was perfect for business type travel.

ExcellentVery friendly informative receptionists, excellent location, great room (en suite cramped but well planned) - a very good Hotel. Only down side is the £8 per day car park.

Breakfast expensiveThe breakfast was £15 per head, which we thought was a bit steep. We found a Weatherspoons just directly up the road which did a huge breakfast for £5! Much better deal than the hotel.

We had previously stayed in City Inn Birmingham so knew what to expect. Everyone was really helpful, we were going to a concert and was given exact directions on how to get there. I would definately recommend City Inn hotel group.

really lovely clean fresh room - and the Mac was a great touch. Hotel is very contemporary. Really friendly and efficient customer service. The only issue was during check out when the hotel had a different price to then one cited by Late Rooms. This was remedied quickly though when i presented my confirmation from Late Rooms.

Apart from the noise from the street below (my fault because I can't sleep without an open window) I cannot really fault the accomodation. Being very picky I could comment on the insufficant coffee sachets or question why only one biscuit was left in a twin bed room but if I had picked up the phone and asked I'm sure more would have been brought to my room.AppleMac TV/Computer access was fantastic but parents be warned that the X rated channel is available without any outside control.

Nice but some details missedStayed for just one night with my girlfriend. £49 not bad value (no breakfast inc.)The room was light and airy - appeared clean but I found some discarded toast under a chair.The bed was firm but comfortable - if a bit small.3 out of the 5 lights in the room didnt work (2 were hanging off the wall!) and the ethernet cable socket didn't work either.The bathroom was great - brilliant power shower.The staff at reception and room service were very good; professional and friendly. The best thing about the room was the i mac with complimentry internet access. The GF was very happy. Overall not bad, let down by some shoddy fixtures and fittings.

Excellent City Centre HotelThe City Inn in Bristol is a fantastic hotel that I have stayed at a number of times before and would certainly use again. The inclusion of an iMAC in every room is a real bonus

The hotel was good value and comfortable although the check-in process was slow at a busy time. City Inns are generally good places to stay, I have found. But- two omissions from when I first started using them: 1) where is the wonderful Bircher muesli ? 2) where have the nice mini-filters for coffee gone? instant coffee is a poor substitute. These little things matter.

The room was modern but there were a couple of niggles with it! The bedside lamp did not work and the Imac entertainemtn system had a volume problem that could not be recitifed.The fitness room was just that! A room with a multigym, a bike and a treadmill! I expected more from a modern hotel.The food however was first class and reasonably priced.

Very good - above averageExcellent modern hotel, with all extras. Very good insulation, could not hear a sound once in the room - a real bonus in modern hotels. Only one slight query, could not find the free database of films and music promised in the brochure. The entertainment station in the room did not appear to have this as promised.

One of the bestFor price and quality it is by far one of the best hotels i have stayed in./the rooms are modern, hi-tec, v-clean and bright with all the extras you exp[ect from a 4**** hotel.Hotel parking is a little tight and not for wimps!
