A pleasure to stay at City Life and we would stay there again without hesitation. The apartment was quiet, well appointed and comfortable, and the location was excellent.

We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite for 5 people. The rooms were all large and very comfortable and included a large kitchen. The location is in the center of Wellington within walking distance of major attractions. Parking is limited and difficult to find. This was the best hotel on our trip to New Zealand.

Had a very good stay. Lovely hotel, however no newspaper was delivered on the first morning and there was no roasting tray in the oven. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice large apartment, clean with good range of appliances. Ideally situated in the centre of city but quiet. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Would recommend it as a place to stay particularly if you wish to self cater as well stocked supermarket just down the road.

We stayed in an apartment that was at the back of the hotel. The htel entrance is on the 6th floor and all rooms at the back are sunk down below that level. The rooms are therefore very dark and dismal. The hotel also has low wattage bulbs in those rooms and the decoration is also dull. The hotel is clean very well located and well priced.

I stayed in CityLife Wellington for 3 nights in January 2009. Every thing was great from the time I checked-in. Professional staff who would try their best to make you happy. Although the hotel is not that new, it has been refurbished. Suites are equipped with every thing you need and the house-keeping staff will make as new every day (Yes, there are many other 4* hotels who would just make up your bed and run away) Location,, well, being in a busy street I would not expect a very quite stay but I liked it because every thing is a walking distance from the hotel.. for me,, I would stay a gain there.

City Life is a great hotel, smack in the middle of Lambton Quays and easy walking distance to everything. My only negative comments would be the lack of air conditioning, which while there were portable fan units did not cut it, and that there was street noise, exaccerbated by having to have the windows open. Would be great in spring, winter and autumn! Great stay otherwise.

Excellent central location only small neative is lack of in house restaurant. The room service choices provided by outside Restaurant are restricted to Aisian or Indian cusine -nice but lacking in light foods.

The advertised snacks with happy hour were minimal and not replenished between guests. No joy at getting nibbles even upon request. Reception staff very friendly and prompt.

It was clean until we checked under the beds Good parking VG location with access to shopping with doors opening right in the centre of Wellington main street.

Good Hotel with excellent service disapointing view from my room windows too high and too small. Mobile air conditioner was very noisy so could not use while on phone or watching TV. Overall would recommend Hotel but in future would be particular about room location.
